We are very proud to have director Michel Ocelot at the festival presenting his fabulous new film. This is the second time Michel Ocelot is visiting KICFF, the first time was in 2001 with Kirikou and the Sorceress.

Brandon increasingly does odd jobs for Billy, the charismatic leader of a local youth gang who are calling the shots in his neighbourhood. Brandon struggles with his troubled home life. His parents fight a lot, and he often has to take care of his little sister. With Billy and the gang, he finds comfort and camaraderie. When Brandon breaks into a judo school with his best friend Stefano, sensei Kai catches him. Brandon gets a chance to get out of the youth gang and train for an important judo competition. But Brandon does not want to lose Stefano, who now also joined the gang, and it is getting harder and harder to make the right choices...
