WELCOME,
Thank you for your interest and attendance at our 28th Annual Quarter Horse Production Sale. We have enjoyed raising Quarter Horses continuously for more than 50 years, and strive to produce versatile, trainable athletes with incredible dispositions and soundness.
Our goals are centered around creating a planned breeding program, utilizing foundation & performance AQHA bloodlines that have been proven to consistently meet our expectations. We take an organized approach; you will see many three-quarter, seven-eighths and full blood siblings in the offering. As we find great crosses and combinations of bloodlines, we then strive to find or create a new sire to compliment this maternal base. This results in multiple generations selected for the same program principles, allowing us to increase the consistency of our foals and ensure they are exactly what our customers need.
We greatly appreciate your support of our family and breeding program, and look forward to hearing from you!

PATRIOT Fqhr
2016 BLUE ROAN STALLION
“Patriot” was selected for our program particularly due to his maternal pedigree. His dam is a full sister to one of our favorite broodmares of all time, SF Lil April McKeag. This line of horses has served us very well through the years, producing several top sellers that have gone on to become fantastic ranch, roping and family horses. Patriot gives us a fresh infusion of that blood, and presents a wonderful option for adding size, length of stride, and balance while stamping his progeny with color and a keen head. Sire of 100% roan foals to date, that exhibit his quality and structure. He’s proven to blend perfectly with our Blue Max Hancock daughters, as you’ll see in this year’s offering.
“Patriot gives us a fresh infusion of that blood, and presents a wonderful option for adding size, length of stride, and balance while stamping his progeny with color and a keen head.”

Big, strong, pretty & handy! We think you will love this Patriot breeding and performance standout, out of a stellar Blue Max Hancock daughter. Grandam “Star” produced multiple past high sellers, breeding stallions and a very successful rope horse futurity winner. Strong and classy, he brings a total package of quality rarely seen on the market. More importantly, like his dam he will be gorgeous with a disposition second to none. So many great ranch horse sires in his lineage, and anchored by a great mare line with his grandam that produced into her mid 20s. Dam is a full sister to 2X World Show Qualifier & Futurity standout Reata McClintock.

A maternal brother to Versatility Ranch Horse AQHA World Show Qualifier “Reata Blue Moon”, out of an older mare that has been an amazing producer. Past customers love their “Blue Moon” progeny due to their impeccable dispositions. Blue Moon, like her dam, was a capable and gentle riding mare with a big stop and a running walk. This is a highly proven pedigree combo of ranch horse versatility, ranching, and roping specialists. Tons of upside to this young July colt, from a powerful maternal family.
This colt will be too young to come to the sale, but we will post a current video the week prior. He can be picked up later this fall after weaning.

2009 BLUE ROAN STALLION| AQHA
Reata Valentine is a dynamic blue roan Blue Valentine performance stallion with a pedigree filled with rodeo credentials. His sire, Vals Blue Charge, is a talented money earner in heeling, and tie-down roping. His paternal great-grandsire, Drews Hancock, is a multiple PRCA & NFR sire with outstanding progeny in heading & heeling. Another great-grandsire, Blue Zan Parr, sired “Honeypot”, a great bay roan heel horse with two trips to the NFR to her credit. His grandsire, Azul Caballo Amigo, sired a PRCA Heel Horse of the Year and a Senior Rodeo Horse of the Year.
Not to be outdone, Reata Valentine’s maternal family is one of the strongest in our program; which also produced a PRCA Calf Horse of the Year (“Mr. Ed”) owned by Doug Clark. All in all, his pedigree is responsible for producing more than a dozen pro-level roping horses who share the same speed, big stop and athleticism that Reata Valentine demonstrates.
Reata has done an exemplary job in his career here as a sire-producing colts with a real “look” about them. He’s a perfect combo with Blue Max Hancock daughters and cowbred mares to ensure the utmost in disposition, ability and style. Look to Reata Valentine to produce colorful, blue roan athletes that excel in the arena and on the ranch.
