LOHENGRIN The Liceu Opera Barcelona is getting ready to experience a unique moment, the world premiere of the new production of Lohengrin with the composer’s great-granddaughter Katharina Wagner. It is the first time that this production will be seen outside the Wagnerian temple of the Bayreuth festival, from the 19th March 19 to 5th April.

Lohengrin is an opera in three acts. It includes one of the bestknown pieces to have transcended the opera house boundary, the famous nuptial march of Act III.

The acclaimed tenor Klaus Florian Vogt will sing the leading role alongside Erin Wall as Elsa, and Evelyn Herlitzius as Ortrud, who has achieved great success with this role.
