God Can Manage It All

If God can create heaven and earth and everything in between in six days, rest assured He can manage whatever hardships happen in your life. Be it relationship troubles, financial struggles, health challenges, or an overwhelming feeling of fear, you’re safe with God. You don’t have to start the new year anxious, because the Lord is fully capable of caring for you. As a believer, you need not be wrapped up in worry. Instead, you can stand strong in your faith, knowing He’s always with you.

So, friend, take heart! The one who created something magnifi cent from a bunch of nothingness is completely invested in you and your life. He loves you without condition. And His wonders are still evident today. This year, press into the Lord when life feels too big. He is willing and able to bring you through to victory!

Lord, my mind cannot comprehend all You’re able to do. I cannot even begin to understand Your unlimited capabilities. Yet I am grateful that Your awesomeness covers my awkwardness. Thank You for being bigger and better than anyone or anything else.

GOALS for the MONTH

So now you see how the Creator swept into being the spangled heavens, the earth, and all their hosts in six days. On the seventh day—with the canvas of the cosmos completed—God paused from His labor and rested.

The Hopeful Wait

So often our waiting times are full of stress and anxiety. We wait and worry. . .we worry and wait. And the waiting is made even more diﬃcult when our minds are overﬂowing with irritating, anxiety-inducing “what-if” thoughts like

What if I lose my job?

What if my friend won’t forgive me?

What if I end up alone?

What if my future doesn’t go as planned?

Waiting doesn’t often feel hopeful, does it? . . . Is there even such a thing as “hopeful waiting”? . . . The answer, according to God’s Word, is yes!

Whatever you’re waiting for, God is a constant hope. You can trust Him because He’s got everything under control. He sees all. He hears all. He knows all. And if that’s not enough to ease your worried mind, He is our shield of protection. . .and His love is unfailing!

So, dear one, rejoice! Receive God’s protection. Welcome His love. In the most diﬃcult waiting season, He will come to your rescue!

Father God, I will take heart as I wait. Thank You for rescuing me, even in the most difficult seasons of life. I will put my hope and trust in You alone!
