Your Pathway to Success

EXERCISE

It is important you take part in your prescribed therapy or home exercise program to maximize your ability to regain your full mobility and strength.

Patients who commit to their exercise program will recover more quickly than patients who do not complete their prescribed exercise program. Based on your surgical procedure and physician orders, you may be referred for outpatient therapy upon discharge from the hospital. If you receive a physical therapy prescription from your surgeon, please take it with you to your first physical therapy appointment.

PHYSICIAN FOLLOW UP VISITS

You will have a follow up with your physician in 2-4 weeks after surgery. Please refer to your discharge instructions regarding how to schedule this appointment.
