Baptist Nassau Thank You, Jonah Medders If you enjoy our Auxiliary Park, you’ve probably noticed the sturdy new benches there, a gift from Jonah Medders, who is the son of Traci Medders, our lead mammography technologist. Last summer, Jonah was looking for a community service project to do as a part of earning his Eagle Scout award. He noticed the benches in the park were getting old and wearing out, so he checked with the Auxiliary and Plant Facilities to get permission to replace them. He worked through the summer to build new benches. Eagle Scout is the highest honor that a young man can attain in Boy Scouts of America. Jerrie Moore, Imaging & Cardiopulmonary director, stated, “I am so proud of Jonah and so thankful that he thought of Baptist Nassau for his project.”
