January Educational Opportunities Nursing and the Ministry of Healing Saturday, Jan. 23, 8:45 am – 1 pm Jacksonville Main Public Library Keynote speaker David I. Levy, MD, a neurovascular surgeon and clinical professor of Neurology at the University of California, San Diego, will speak on “Resilience in Health Care.” The conference also includes a nurse panel on the topic, “Incorporating Faith in Practice,” moderated by Diane Raines, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, Baptist Health chief nursing officer. The program offers 3.5 nursing contact hours and is also relevant for physicians and other health care professionals, as well as community members interested in the topic. The conference includes lunch, is $15 for nurses and other health care professionals, and $10 for students and community members. Sponsored by Baptist Health, it is presented by the Lord’s Foundation, The W.W. and Eloise Gay Foundation and the Edna Sproull Williams Foundation.
