Thank you for stepping up to be a Team Captain for Bounce Back from Cancer™. In this role, think of yourself as the coach rallying your squad – friends, family, and colleagues – to score crucial points for the Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute. This handy playbook gives you all the plays and resources you need to lead your team to victory. ACTION PLAN TIMELINE
• WEEK 1: Once you register your team's name and become Team Captain, set a personal fundraising goal and don't hesitate to pass the ball to all your contacts, not just a select few. Assemble your participants and share your team page link through both email and social media channels. Lead by example and make the first contribution to show your support and commitment. • WEEK 2 - 6: Drive the lane with follow-up emails, both within your organization and externally, to inspire others to join your team. Utilize the sample email and social media communication plays we've provided to help your team. • WEEK 6 - 8: Pass the ball downcourt with an email update to keep your squad in the loop about your fundraising scoreboard. Encourage them to run a full-court press on social media to spread the word about this meaningful cause. Re-post on social media and share the link to your team page. Invite your supporters to donate if they are not able to join the day of the event.
• WEEK OF MARCH 11, 2024: In this fourth quarter push, share another update on your fundraising status and a reminder that Bounce Back from Cancer™ is on Saturday, March 16. While all players will receive event-day logistics from our organizers, let them know where to meet your team. *Fundraising open until March 31, 2024
