Understanding your statement An essential guide to your Support at Home funding JULY 2026

See exactly where your funding goes Each month, we send you a statement so you can see how your Support at Home funding is being used. It’s a summary, not an invoice – there’s nothing to pay when it arrives.

If you have any client contribution payments to make, they’ll come to you separately as an invoice.

Your statement comes in two parts: • A summary page – your funding, what you’ve spent this month and what’s left • A detailed breakdown – every service and expense, so you can see each cost individually

If anything doesn’t look right, or you’d like it explained, your Care Manager is always happy to help.

Understanding your summary The first part of your statement gives you the big picture at a glance.

Understanding the other sections on your summary Depending on the type of funding you receive, your summary may include one or more of these sections.

Home Care Package unspent funds You’ll only see this if you were a Home Care Package client on 1 November 2025 and had funds left unspent. These funds transitioned with you to Support at Home. They don’t have an end date – they stay available until they’re used up.

The funds may be held by Services Australia or by BaptistCare. They both work the same way.

Support at Home additional funding If you’ve been approved for short-term pathway funding, a summary will appear here.

This can include assistive technology, home modifications, restorative care and end of life services. Each short term pathway has its own budget, separate from your ongoing quarterly budget.

Use of unspent Home Care Package funds If any of your unspent Home Care Package funds have been used, this will be shown as a separate line in your statement.

Wraparound services These charges cover the administration and coordination involved in organising an approved assistive technology or home modification item.

Adjustments and missed items A service from a previous month that’s been added or corrected in this statement.

Service planning codes (end of life pathway) On end of life pathways, you may see codes such as DIR and IND. These show the types of direct and indirect care management services.
