London Centre Celebrates it’s First Graduation...

The first cohort of students ever to enrol at the Bangor Business School London Centre have graduated with Masters degrees. Some of the graduands travelled to Bangor in north Wales, home of Bangor University, to graduate alongside their fellow postgraduate Business students. Building on its No.1 position in the UK for Accounting, Banking and Finance research, Bangor Business School brings its first-class education and research expertise to the heart of London's financial district.

Another successful Legal English Summer School Practising law professionals and top Law students from around the world joined together at Bangor this summer for the Legal English Training Programme and Common Law Summer School. During the two weeks students undertook extensive legal English training, specialist training in Common Law, UK Public Law, Employment Contracts, Contract Law, Intellectual Property and Criminal Law. Students also enjoyed a varied social programme with visits to the beautiful surrounding areas of Bangor and a trip to Liverpool to visit the Crown Court.

The students gave great feedback with one student commenting: “This is the Best Summer School I have ever taken part in.” Another student from Italy has now attended the summer school 10 years in a row! Bangor Law School is known for its high student satisfaction levels, which have been confirmed by the latest National Student Survey results where Bangor was ranked No.6 in the UK. Bangor Hosts 9/11 Summer School Bangor University was selected to host the prestigious British Council Summer School in August along with two other UK institutions. The summer school was organised for high school students whose parents died or were seriously injured in the attacks of 9/11.

University the students enjoyed various activities including kayaking in Snowdonia National Park, a digital scrapbooking session and they also visited a castle. The students also took part in a Psychology workshop as well as collecting samples from the Menai Straits to take back to the Ocean Sciences lab.
