The Beauty of a Smile A smile costs nothing but its value is priceless.

It enriches the one who gives it. yet it impoverishes him not.

It happens in a flash but the memory may last for days.

No one is so rich that he can get along without it. No one is so poor that he cannot afford to give it.

A smile generates happiness in the home and good will in business because it says. "I like you. You pleasure me.'"

If you meet an acquaintance or a friend who is too busy to give you a smile — leave one of yours.

No one needs a smile so much as the person who has none to give.

There is at Bancroft a man of many trades. On a moment's notice he is able to build a much needed prop, mark the athletic fields, replace a broken window, or plow the driveway in his little red jeep. He never fails to help out in what appears to be a dire situation. We hope that this dedication will serve as a spokesman for all our unspoken words of gratitude. We, the class of 1976, dedicate this yearbook to a friend, helper, and a different kind of teacher, George O'Brien
