LOS ANGELES RAMS VS. B ALTIMORE R AVENS (11-4)
C OAC H H A R BAU G H S AY S COACH HARBAUGH ON THE RAVENS’ MINDSET ENTERING WEEK 17: “We need to go out there and play our best football that we’re capable of playing, and that’ll be enough. There’s really no focus on anything else. We’re not wallowing in anything that happened or celebrating anything that happened. We’re just trying to learn from it and take it to the next play and play the next play as well as we can.”

7 The Baltimore Ravens (8-7) host the Los Angeles Rams at M&T
The following 2021 Pro Bowlers have missed recent game action: FB Patrick Ricard (knee, three straight), QB Lamar Jackson (ankle, two straight) and WR/RS Devin Duvernay (ankle, last Sunday). Against Cincinnati last week, 14 players were unavailable to play while on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, including starters CB Chris Westry, OLB Justin Houston and DT Justin Madubuike. Starting CB Anthony Averett (chest/ribs) left the Bengals game and didn’t return. The Ravens have 17 players on IR, including starters RB J.K. Dobbins (knee), RB Gus Edwards (knee), S DeShon Elliott (pec/biceps), CB Marlon Humphrey (pec), CB Marcus Peters (knee), T Ronnie Stanley (ankle) and DE Derek Wolfe (back/hip).
Bank Stadium for a Week 17 showdown with major playoff implications. If the Ravens win their final two games, they’ll be in position to possibly earn a postseason berth for the fourth-straight season. Currently second in the AFC North standings, Baltimore also has a chance to capture the division crown if it wins out and Cincinnati loses its last two contests.
7 The Ravens are in the midst of a four-game losing streak, with three of those defeats coming by a combined 4 points: at Pittsburgh (1), at Cleveland (2) and vs. Green Bay (1). Against the Steelers and Packers, the Ravens were down 1 point and attempted potential game-winning 2-point conversions (both unsuccessful) with less than 1 minute to play. Under head coach John Harbaugh, Baltimore has only lost four consecutive games one other time (2016).
NOTE THE QUOTE TE MARK ANDREWS ON THE RAVENS’ CONTINUED FIGHT: “This whole year has been just one thing after another. But there’s one thing that remains true – we continue to fight. We continue to have resiliency, and I think that starts from Coach Harbaugh. Coach Harbaugh is someone that preaches that each and every day. No matter what happens to us, no matter what’s thrown at us, we’ve just got to keep on fighting, and that’s what we’ll do.”
7 Baltimore has won 13 of its past 14 games vs. teams from the NFC, with the only defeat coming against the Packers two weeks ago.
7 The Ravens lead the all-time series, 5-2, against the Rams, winning four straight. Under Coach Harbaugh, Baltimore is 3-0 vs. the Rams.
7 With multiple starters out due to injury, in addition to 10 key players (including three starters) on the Reserve/COVID list, Baltimore fell, 41-21, at Cincinnati last Sunday. Third-string QB Josh Johnson, who was signed to the team just 10 days earlier, started for the Ravens, completing 28-of-40 passes for 304 yards, 2 TDs and 1 INT. TE Mark Andrews was spectacular again, posting 8 catches for 125 yards and 1 TD that cut a fourth-quarter deficit to 13 points with 14:55 remaining. However, Bengals QB Joe Burrow and his potent WR corps couldn’t be stopped, as Burrow threw for 525 yards (including 194 to Tee Higgins & 125 to Ja’Marr Chase) and 4 TDs.
