Landrum announced today the promotion of Mandy Resmondo to Senior Vice President, People and Talent. In this expanded role, she will lead the company’s internal HR function while continuing to oversee delivery across Landrum’s recruiting business and advise clients on talent strategy and workforce challenges.
Resmondo’s role uniquely spans both internal and external impact. She will guide Landrum’s people strategy, including culture, leadership development and workforce planning, while also maintaining responsibility for the execution and performance of the firm’s recruiting and talent delivery teams. In addition, she will continue partnering directly with clients on talent consulting, helping organizations address hiring, retention and leadership needs in a rapidly changing labor market.

Eric Schuck, MD, FAAP, has been named Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Nemours Children's Health, Pensacola, effective Feb. 1, 2026. In this role, Dr. Schuck will lead clinical quality and safety initiatives, oversee physician practice operations, and lead collaborations with community stakeholders across Northwest Florida.

Dr. Schuck brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare leadership and pediatric care. Prior to joining Nemours Children's, he served as Interim Chief Medical Officer for Alamance Regional Medical Center and Annie Penn Hospital, both part of Cone Health. Before that, he served as Chief Medical Officer for several HCA Healthcare North Florida Division facilities, including HCA Fort Walton-Destin/Twin Cities Hospitals, HCA Florida West Florida Hospital, and HCA Florida Ocala Hospital.

Dr. Schuck will also practice at Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola, Florida. Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) announced it surpassed $1 billion in customer fuel savings in 2025, the result of systematic, smart investments in fuel-efficient technologies over the past two decades.
A word from FPL CEO Armando Pimentel: “Our long-term strategy of investing in highly efficient and innovative technologies is delivering real value for our customers. These investments are helping us save customers billions in fuel costs and ensuring that Florida has the reliable, affordable electricity it needs to continue to grow and prosper.”
Customer benefits: Because fuel costs are passed directly to customers, FPL has helped reduce customer bills with a collective $17.6 billion in avoided fuel costs since 2001. FPL’s typical residential customer bills are currently 30% below the national average and the lowest among rate-regulated utilities in Florida.
Ultra fuel-efficient natural gas:
• Florida depends on reliable natural gas, which generates approximately twothirds of the state’s electricity. The more a utility can reduce fuel costs, the more it can help reduce customer bills.
• FPL's investments to replace old, inefficient oil-burning plants with ultraefficient energy centers that run on U.S.-produced natural gas has saved customers approximately $860 million in fuel costs in 2025 alone.
Zero-emissions nuclear:
FPL safely operates four nuclear power units at its Turkey Point and St. Lucie sites.
• FPL delivered fuel-cost savings for customers by identifying highly efficient, innovative operating practices, including enhanced technologies and improved refueling timelines at its nuclear plants.
• The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) approved the license renewal for FPL’s Turkey Point to operate into the 2050s. St. Lucie's license renewal request to operate for an additional 20 years is pending with the NRC.
Low-cost solar energy centers:
• Solar energy centers are one of the fastest to build and most cost-effective sources of new power generation to meet the energy needs of Florida’s growing population.
• FPL’s solar energy centers provide enough low-cost, reliable energy to power over 1.7 million homes across the state annually, saving customers $1.2 billion in fuel costs since 2021.
Cutting-edge battery energy storage:
• By pairing battery energy storage systems with solar, or other sources of power generation, excess, low-cost energy can be stored and used when needed most.
• By the end of the year, FPL plans to add more than 1,400 MW of battery energy storage systems across a mix of thirteen hybrid and standalone sites.
• FPL’s investment will deliver enough electricity to serve more than one million homes over a four-hour period.

The administration of the estate of Patricia Earle Regan, deceased, whose date of death was January 21, 2026, is pending in the Circuit Court for Escambia County, Florida, Probate Division, the address of which is 190 W Government Street, Pensacola, Florida 32502. The names and addresses of the personal representatives and the personal representatives’ attorney are set forth below.
All creditors of the decedent and other persons having claims or demands against decedent’s estate on whom a copy of this notice is required to be served must file their claims with this court ON OR BEFORE THE LATER OF 3 MONTHS AFTER THE TIME OF THE FIRST PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE OR 30 DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF SERVICE OF A COPY OF THIS NOTICE ON THEM.
All other creditors of the decedent and other persons having claims or demands against decedent’s estate must file their claims with this court WITHIN 3 MONTHS AFTER THE DATE OF THE FIRST PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE.
The personal representative has no duty to discover whether any property held at the time of the decedent’s death by the decedent or the decedent’s surviving spouse is property to which the Florida Uniform Disposition of Community Property Rights at Death Act as described in ss. 732.216-732.228, Florida Statutes, applies, or may apply, unless a written demand is made by a creditor as specified under s. 732.2211, Florida Statutes. The written demand must be filed with the clerk.
ALL CLAIMS NOT FILED WITHIN THE TIME PERIODS SET FORTH IN FLORIDA STATUTES SECTION 733.702 WILL BE FOREVER BARRED.
NOTWITHSTANDING THE TIME PERIODS SET FORTH ABOVE, ANY CLAIM FILED TWO (2) YEARS OR MORE AFTER THE DECEDENT’S DATE OF DEATH IS BARRED.
