Dogs are allowed on Angels Beach, Sharpes Beach and Flat Rock Beach provided they are on a lead. Simply check the signs in public places to see if dogs are allowed in that location. It’s also good to know that dogs in public places must be on a lead that is controlled and held by a competent person over 16 years of age.

JOURNEY ACROSS THE SEAS The Las Balsas rafting expedition from Ecuador to Ballina in 1973, is the longest rafting journey in history. Three rafts set out for Australia, one remains on display at the Ballina Naval and Maritime Museum.

Housed in one of the original hangers on the Base. Thousands of men and women called Evans Head home while undergoing bombing training during World War ll.
