NEW WAY OF LODGING DEVELOPMENT APPLICATIONS The process for lodging a planning application with Ballina Shire Council changes from 28 June 2021.
The NSW Planning Portal is a digital platform used to lodge planning applications. The platform is already being used by a number of Council’s across NSW. As required by the NSW State Government, all councils will be using the new platform from 1 July 2021. Hardcopy documents and applications emailed to Council will no longer be accepted after 28 June 2021. This means customers will need to lodge planning applications via planningportal.nsw.gov.au See Page 15 for details on the new way of lodging planning applications
