Introduction
We have had such a great time working on this production. As a cast, visiting London earlier in the year to take part in a Disney workshop, based on 'Circle of Life', followed by a matinee of the professional production really inspired the pupils. The music, choreography, story and visual beauty of ‘The Lion King’ have made it one of the most successful stage adaptations of a film, and the pupils have certainly enjoyed bringing their own take on this musical to life.
Over the Easter break, Years 3 and 4 created (with their parents!) a wonderfully colourful collection of tropical birds, which appear twice in the show. In addition, a large team of pupils and staff in our Theatre Production Crew have contributed to the rest of the set and props in the show, to give our cast a professional experience on stage.
We hope you enjoy watching 'The Lion King' as much as all the cast and crew have enjoyed working on it.
