REMEMBERING THE NATIONAL APOLOGY DAY IN BALLARAT
On February 13 in 2008, Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, made a formal apology to Australia’s Stolen Generations, those Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who had been removed as children from their families and their culture. The City of Ballarat is taking a moment to remember the National Apology, and the effect it had on the Stolen Generations. Follow KEAG Ballarat on Facebook for more details closer to the date. @KEAGBallarat
