Fifty-five (55) hotels from Marriott International hotels and resorts in Indonesia, hosted the 1st Virtual Run To Give Indonesia on October 1st to 31st, 2020. The purpose of this charity event was to raise money for an Indonesia-wide associates relief fund, which will be dedicated to support Marriott Associates who have been affected by the COVID 19 pandemic and in support of Bali Children’s foundation. Besides the General Managers and other hotels’ associates, the general public also joined the run and support this great cause. This event was Marriott Indonesia’s first ever virtual charity run, allowing participants to adhering to social-distancing measures and to safeguard the wellbeing of our guests, associates and participants. “We are very pleased with the success of our first Virtual Run to Give,” said Marie Browne, General Manager of Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort and Chairwoman of Virtual Run To Give 2020. “Our associates, brands and partners have shown overwhelming support for this cause.
