“Be the best version of yourself. Long ago I read a quote by Maya Angelou, “If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude.” It was then and there I decided that I would see positivity in everything and create my own opportunities. Life isn’t always fair and can be daunting. It’s easy to have your focus shifted away. A negative comment can be extremely hurtful and instill fear, self-doubt, and hinder your self-confidence. Over time I realized I had to divert all my energy into being the best version of myself rather than giving attention to negativity. That’s why I make it a priority to mentor females of all ages and try to help them see the power they possess in themselves and help realize their potential rather than dwell on negativity which can lead them into depression.”
