Dear Patient,

You have been identified as taking Pregablin.

A new study has suggested Pregabalin may slightly increase the risk of major congenital malformations if used in pregnancy. Patients should continue to use effective contraception during treatment.

Please note: If you are planning a pregnancy or you become pregnant during treatment to make an appointment to discuss your health condition and any medicines they are taking

Please contact the surgery and arrange for an appointment to discuss putting an effective contraception in place.
