Updates Krish Sharma was elected as the NJCL President during the National Latin Convention in July!!
This left the office of WJCL 1st VP vacant. Anvesha Guru ran for that office & won!
However, because of Anvesha’s victory, we needed to hold an emergency election for BAJCL president.
Updates We also held an emergency election for Parlimentarian. Folllowing these 2 emergency elections, Sam Demski was elected as our President & Sanjit Madireddi became our new Parliamentarian!! Sam’s election left the BA office of 1VP open, causing yet another emergency election. Out of the many wonderful candidates who ran, Ammar Pasha was elected as BAJCL’s 1VP!

Certamen On November 11th, 10 BA high school students traveled to New Haven, Connecticut to participate in the Yale Certamen competition! In addition to our fantastic rankings, BA teams at all levels reached to the semifinals. We were one of only 3 schools to do so. Congratulations to all who participated!!!

State Convention is an annual, 3-day, 2-night trip to Madison where students participate in many entertaining and enjoyable activities alongside other Latin students from our state!
