Manufacturing + Engineering Week 2023
On the 7th-8th June 2023, Manufacturing + Engineering Week displayed a festival of industrial innovation at the NEC in Birmingham. Covering all four stages of the product life cycle from design and engineering to manufacturing and maintenance, each year Manufacturing + Engineering Week brings together the entire community to celebrate all things manufacturing and engineering.
This year’s festival featured a dynamic and interactive series of digital and live events that inspired, informed and entertained all those involved in the sector.
The 2023 show was a huge success and showcased the wide variety of brands, products and services from all parts of the supply chain. Exhibitors and attendees were full of praise with feedback stating that the show was an excellent insight into the future of the sector whilst also gifting fantastic opportunities to learn from experts about the future sustainability of the industry and how better to prepare their businesses for change. The event truly showcased the appetite for digitalisation within the sector and the eagerness for companies to meet new customers and help solve problems that exist in the industry.
A number of high-profile speakers, practical workshops, market-leading suppliers, and colocated exhibitors were at the Manufacturing + Engineering Week highlighting the very best available to UK business.
Thousands of new products and services from leading brands were showcased under one roof including 3M PLC, Interface Force Measurements, Rokholt Group Ltd, Shipprojects, Telesoft Technologies Ltd, and many more.
Over 7,500 people attended the festival that featured over 200 speakers and 400 exhibitors over the two days. At the festival there was also a series of other manufacturing and engineering events that took place in adjacent halls and attendees were given free access to all shows with one pass. These shows included the Design & Engineering Expo, Maintec, and Smart Factory Expo.
There has never been a more important time for the sector to come together to help reach the UK’s target of net zero emissions by 2050.
