Established in 1982 by Colin Fisher and Jean Fisher and now run by their son Neil, Fisher & Company has grown to become a leading designer and manufacturer of galvanised and stainlesssteel Feeder Pillars, mains and solar powered Belisha Beacons and the supply of GRP enclosures. Fisher & Company is an engineering company with an all-woman management team who along with MD, Neil, are keen to encourage the next generation of women in engineering roles.

“We manufacture Feeder Pillars here in Somerset from laser cut sheet steel to our own designs and we keep stocks of our full range of Mini Pillars and our BD mid-range Feeder Pillars. Our larger FFP range has popular sizes kept in stock too with other sizes being usually made to order from just two weeks. We also manufacture bespoke sizes and types to customers or architects’ specifications,” said Hannah Fisher, Sales & Office Manager.

We deliver all over the UK, and export to several countries including Malta, Cyprus, Singapore, Hong Kong and Ireland,” stated Hannah.

Fisher & Company offers a comprehensive range of pedestrian crossing products. “We developed our range of Belisha and Refuge Beacons from the ground up to meet a demand in enquiries many years ago. We are about to launch our latest version of our SolarisV2™ Solar Powered Belisha Beacon,” added Hannah.

The SolarisV2 is the next-generation in Belisha Beacons! Ideally manufactured for car parks, supermarkets, private parks, schools and college campuses, the SolarisV2™ is quick and easy to install, and extremely cost-effective compared to conventional mains. Featuring the same unique Belisha Beacon assembly, it consists of Fisher & Company’s robust Aluminium Gallery and Polyethylene Amber Globe to create a green energy version, reducing carbon foot print.

We also make our own range of tried and tested electrically insulated Digging Tools and Lantern and Sign Brackets for Highways and Lighting purposes.
