This is especially true of the priorities we’ve been drafting for the 86th Texas Legislative Session that convenes in January 2019. We discussed many of the issues with state legislators at a meeting here in October, and we will continue these discussions in March when we travel to Austin.

BUSINESS ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS Local State Legislators Briefed on 86th Legislative Agenda BAHEP’s Political Protocol Committee, chaired by Marcy Fryday with Lakewood Yacht Club, hosted a review of the 86th Texas Legislative Agenda with local state legislators on Oct. 30, 2018. Legislators participating in the

The coastal spine system, urban flooding issues, a slate of 35 regional projects, international trade missions, and support of our many members and partners will continue to keep us fully occupied in 2019. BAHEP’s first major event in 2019 is our annual Quasar Award banquet. We are very excited to be able to honor Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush with the 2019 Quasar Award.
