A Message From Our
To our Diner En Rouge guests, welcome! Thank you for your attendance and for your support of our annual signature fundraiser. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a public service organization of college educated women dedicated to sisterhood, scholarship, service and social action. It is through the work of the sorority's chapters that local communities are served. Because of your generosity at this year's event, the Bay Area Houston Alumnae Chapter will provide over $10,000 in scholarships and programming to the Clear Lake, Friendswood, Pasadena, Pearland, Seabrook and Webster communities. On behalf of our scholarship recipients, thank you for investing in their future. We hope you enjoy this evening's festivities, and we look forward to seeing you again next year! Dr. Misha Lesley-Burkins President 2021-2023 Bay Area Houston Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Our Hostess
KIMBERLY DAVIS
The Mays Landing, New Jersey native previously worked for CBS Philly as an evening reporter, and fill-in anchor. She often covered breaking news and led national news coverage for CBS News during an hours-long police standoff where six officers were shot. Before heading to Philadelphia, Kimberly worked as a reporter at WTVF-TV in Nashville, Tennessee. Kimberly was also a morning reporter for KTTC-TV in Rochester, Minnesota. Kimberly graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Radio Television Film, and a minor in Education. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the National Association of Black Journalists. In addition to her passion for storytelling, Kimberly is a fan of the arts and loves to sing. When she’s not on-air, you’ll most likely see her at the dog park hanging out with Stanley, her beloved English Springer Spaniel. You may also catch her out on the dance floor, dancing the bachata, salsa, or merengue! Kimberly, a two-time Emmy Award-winning journalist, is thrilled to be back in the South again, telling the stories that matter most to viewers.
