GENERAL NOTES Situation Yew Tree Farm lies close to the B5023 South of Cowers Lane and has excellent access from Ashbourne, Derby and Belper.

From Duffield pick up the B5023 towards Wirksworth and Cowers Lane and after 4 miles take the lane signposted Windley. Travel up the lane 300 yards and at the grass triangle turn left into Gunhills Lane signposted Quarndon. Yew Tree Farm is the first farm on the right after 200 yards.

From Ashbourne take the A517 towards Hulland Ward and Belper and after 7! miles reach the Railway Inn at Cowers Lane crossroads. Turn right onto the B5023 signposted Duffield and after 1! miles travel over the old railway. Take the first lane on the right into Windley Lane signposted Windley and travel 300 yards to the grass triangle. Turn left signed Quarndon into Gunhills Lane and Yew Tree Farm is the first farm on the right.

From the centre of Belper pick up the A517 towards Ashbourne and after 4 miles reach the Railway Inn at Cowers Lane crossroads. Turn left travelling towards Duffield and follow the directions above.

‘To the Sale’ and ‘Car Park’ signs will be erected on the morning of the sale.

Export Purchasers – All goods must be paid for in pounds sterling (£).

VAT on Export Goods – Under regulations imposed by HM Customs & Excise, the auctioneers must account in a proper manner for VAT on export goods. All customers must pay all VAT on the purchase price of goods on sale day. On receipt of all relevant export documentation and bills of laden (which must be received in the prescribed time limits), the auctioneers will then refund relevant VAT sums.

This genuine dispersal sale arises as a result of the retirement of Mr Guy Hadfield from active farming and many locals will know that the cattle have already been sold some time ago off the farm.

The family have been at Yew Tree Farm for in excess of 65 years and Guy will be well known for his fabrication skills, agricultural construction and visits to various sales and ploughing matches.

Virtually all the modern machinery has been owned from new with many of the items purchased since 2010 having seen very little work.

The Tractors show low hours and in addition to these items there is a wide array of workshop equipment and fabricators kit which was formerly used by Guy in his workshops.

Purchasers should attend and bid with confidence at this excellent late season sale with a wide variety of lots for genuine dispersal.
