GENERAL NOTES Situation Oldwood Farm lies between Blithbury and Rugeley and has access from both the B5014 at Abbots Bromley and the B5013 close to Rugeley.

From the Centre of Abbots Bromley pick up the B5104 towards Lichfield and Hillridware and travel over the river Blythe at Blythe Ford and up into Blithbury. Adjoining the former Bull and Spectacles Public House turn right signed for Rugeley and continue on the lane for approximately 1 mile to the severe left hand bend. Continue left towards Rugeley and no 7. Oldwood Farm lies second holding on the left.

From the centre of Rugeley pick up the B5013 towards Uttoxeter and adjoining the railway bridge at Trentham Valley turn immediately right signposted for Blithbury and Hamstall Ridware. Continue along the lane towards Blithbury for approximately ! mile with no 7. Holding lying on the right.

‘To the Sale’ and ‘Car Park’ signs will be erected on the morning of the sale.

Cheques/Payments-Payment Is Required On Sale Day Intending Purchasers not known to the Auctioneers must produce, prior to bidding, an acceptable Banker’s reference. Under new regulations introduced by the Banks, such references are now only obtainable by the Bank’s customers themselves and have to be obtained by them direct from their Bank and forwarded to us. Unless an acceptable Banker’s Reference is produced Payment is Strictly Cash. Persons unknown to the Auctioneers and who pay by cheque will have their goods impounded until cheques have cleared. The Auctioneers reserve the right to refuse a bid off any potential unknown customer.

All bidders should note that in many cases video security will be on site.

GENERAL NOTES Cash – Under the money laundering regulations the auctioneers are unable to accept cash in sums greater than "10,000 (or its Sterling equivalent). Please contact the auctioneers to discuss methods of cash payment prior to the sale.

Export Purchasers – All goods must be paid for in pounds sterling (£).

VAT on Export Goods – Under regulations imposed by HM Customs & Excise, the auctioneers must account in a proper manner for VAT on export goods. All customers must pay all VAT on the purchase price of goods on sale day. On receipt of all relevant export documentation and bills of laden (which must be received in the prescribed time limits), the auctioneers will then refund relevant VAT sums.

Buyers Premium – No buyers premium will be payable at this sale.

Telehandler Loading Facilities – Telehandler loading facilities will be available on site up until approximately 5.00pm on sale day. th

Machine Hours – Machine hours have been taken as at Thursday 16 September 2021. These are given for information purposes only and are not guaranteed by the Auctioneers.

Loading It is the responsibility of the purchaser to arrange for the safe loading & transport of all and any purchases.

Bagshaws are under no obligation to provide assistance in loading but on occasion they will do their best to help provided that it is not putting themselves, the purchaser or other people at risk of injury.

For large, heavy and unwieldy items, specialist loading and transportation will be required for example bulk bins and tanks.

The decision made by Bagshaws will be final.

FOREWORD This genuine small holders sale at Oldwood Farm arises as a result of Ed and Lesley Biddle retiring from the farm which has now been sold.

Originally the holding was farmed with cattle, sheep and pigs together with an equine enterprise and purchasers should note that all livestock has now been sold.

There is a wide range of sundry items, the majority of which will be sold free of VAT and in addition the produce from the farm will be auctioned off.

Purchasers should attend and bid with confidence at this late season sale.

The auction sale is being conducted in accordance with strict social distancing rules and Government Guidelines in accordance with COVID 19 regulations.
