Travelling out of Shirebrook towards Mansfield, travel over the railway and past the station on the right, turn right after approximately mile towards Sookholme. Travel into Sookholme and around the village bends, after mile turn right signed The Hostess Restaurant (opposite the sports complex). Travel up the drive with the farm lying on the right.
Travelling north on the A60 towards Mansfield Woodhouse and Warsop, continue for 2 miles and pick up the B6407 towards Sookholme and Shirebrook. After approximately mile turn left into the access lane signed The Hostess Restaurant (before the sports complex on the right). Travel up the drive with the farm lying on the right.
‘To the Sale’ and ‘Car Park’ signs will be erected on the morning of the sale.

Intending Purchasers not known to the Auctioneers must produce, prior to bidding, an acceptable Banker’s reference. Under new regulations introduced by the Banks, such references are now only obtainable by the Bank’s customers themselves and have to be obtained by them direct from their Bank and forwarded to us. Unless an acceptable Banker’s Reference is produced Payment is Strictly Cash. Persons unknown to the Auctioneers and who pay by cheque will have their goods impounded until cheques have cleared. The Auctioneers reserve the right to refuse a bid off any potential unknown customer.

Viewing and Inspection – strictly on sale day only from 8.30am onwards.
Conditions of Sale – Bagshaws usual farm sale conditions of sale shall apply at this sale, copies of which are available from the Town offices or the on site sale office.

Export Purchasers – All goods must be paid for in pounds sterling (£).
VAT on Export Goods – Under regulations imposed by HM Customs & Excise, the auctioneers must account in a proper manner for VAT on export goods. All customers must pay all VAT on the purchase price of goods on sale day. On receipt of all relevant export documentation and bills of laden (which must be received in the prescribed time limits), the auctioneers will then refund relevant VAT sums.
Mileage Details/Photos – Mileage for vans have been taken as at early spring 2023, with photos taken in mid 2022 prior to Chesterfield Shop closing.
Loading
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to arrange for the safe loading & transport of all and any purchases.
Bagshaws are under no obligation to provide assistance in loading but on occasion they will do their best to help provided that it is not putting themselves, the purchaser or other people at risk of injury.
For large, heavy and unwieldy items, specialist loading and transportation will be required for example bulk bins and tanks. The decision made by Bagshaws will be final.

This genuine sale at Nettleworth Farm arises as a result of various restructuring by the Bowring family and locals will know that the Chesterfield Shop closed in the Autumn of 2022.
In addition to the trailed butchery sales vans and mobile equipment there are two Ford Transit Refrigerated Delivery Vans in the sale which both have full MOT’s and are both currently in full use.
