GEN ERA L NOTE S Situation Fackley Farm has excellent national road network access via the M1 and lies close to junction 28 and the A38.

From Tibshelf Village and the B6017 travel over the M1 motorway towards Stanton Hill and Sutton in Ashfield and after passing over Wild Hill reach the Carnavon Public House on the left. Travel passed the Carnavon Arms and after 400 yards under the former railway bridge turn immediately right into the farm drive.

From the M1 and junction 28 pick up the A38 north towards Mansfield and Sutton in Ashfield and travel passed Sutton in Ashfield on the bypass and arrive at the Kingsmill Hospital Crossroads. Pick up the A617 towards Chesterfield and at the top Skegby traffic lights turn left onto the B6014 signposted Tibshelf. Travel down through the houses for approximately 2 ! miles and over the mini roundabout with Fackley Farm lying on the left adjoining the main road just before the old railway bridge.

FOR EWO R D This superb late season sale arises as a result of Mr Ian Taylor developing a leisure diversification enterprise at Fackley Farm and many locals will know that the Taylor family have farmed at Fackley for three generations.

Various of the items included in the sale were actually purchased by Ian Taylor’s grandfather and father with items such as the Massey Ferguson 240 Tractor, together with two Leyland Tractors having been used on the farm for in excess of 40 years.

Many will know and have seen Ian at various sales throughout Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire and Ian has purchased many quality tractors particularly Leylands and Massey Fergusons over the last 15-18 years.

There is a massive range of spares together with some real gems in the collectables and purchasers should attend and bid with confidence at this October sale which will not have buyer’s premium charged.
