Opened by HRH The Princess Royal in February 1999, the Agricultural Business Centre, Bakewell stands as a thriving hub at the heart of the Peak District livestock industry.
Purpose-built to handle large numbers of quality stock from the Peak District and surrounding areas, the centre offers modern, efficient facilities in a region renowned for its outstanding livestock. Weekly sales are held every Monday and Thursday, with additional Friday sales of store sheep during the Autumn season.
With a heritage of livestock trading in Bakewell spanning more than a century, the firm combines deep-rooted market expertise with a broad range of professional services, including land and property sales, valuations, compensation claims and comprehensive farm office support.
