Welcome to our 2018 production sale. This year will mark the 67th year of raising Angus for our family. As a third generation Angus breeder, I am more excited now for our breed than ever before. What better time to be a true Angus breeder? Our entire cowherd stems back to some of the most time-tested, proven cow families this breed has ever seen. The mother cows are always the heart and soul to any thriving program. Solid real-world characteristics like quality cattle in a functional format and records on the farm will never lead your program astray. The cows with impeccable phenotype, performance, udder quality, structural correctness, with fertility to breed back in a timely fashion is the way we continue to move our program forward in the direction we desire. Through a genetic partnership with Schaff Angus Valley, we have marketed bulls at the highest level of public auction to seedstock producers, as well as commercial cattlemen all over the United States and beyond. Our female sales have had some of the finest breeders in the business participate selecting females to impact their herd when entering. The only one thing better about raising Angus is the people and friendships you gain and cherish along the way. This sale runs deep with the best quality animals. We have added more youth in the cattle then any past sale. In the Lot 1, Siebring Blackcap May 473, we are offering 1/2 interest for a serious breeder to join hands in our program in a partnership of raising great cattle in years to come. This cow is the rarest of all females we have ever sold in her chapter of her career. We dug deep into our replacement bred heifers to keep the value of our customer in mind.
