Fellow Cattleman, We would like to invite everyone to our 21st Annual Spring Production Sale. We have put together a stout and high performing group of Angus bulls and females. We are a 100% family owned and operated ranch. We value each and everyone of our longtime friends and customers we have made throughout the years. We very much appreciate your support and are motivated and dedicated to provide you high quality bulls for many years to come. This year’s bull offering consists of the top 40% of our calf crop. We culled very hard this year to offer the best cutting edge genetics possible. We weaned the bulls the end of September this year and have grown them out with longevity and soundness in mind. We have put these bulls on test and many of them were gaining over 3.75lbs per day. We selected them for overall calving ease, performance, and phenotype. We feel these bulls will suit anyone’s needs, whether you’re a purebred seedstock producer or a commercial cow-calf operation. We once again have bigger framed bulls that will sire offspring that excel in the feedlots, and more moderate framed bulls that will stand up to the harsh rangeland of the western states. We have more embryo transfer calves and AI sired bulls than we have ever offered before. We have been increasing our ET program over the years and this past spring we had implanted the highest number of embryos ever in the history of the program. We will highlight progeny from the great producing SAV Abigale 5646, BAR Abigale 5312, SAV Emblynette 6001 and SAV Emblynette 4367. The great cow, BAR Abigale 5312, has already produced $33,500 on her first 2 sons sold through our sales. As you will see, she has done an incredible job again on this flush of bulls by the $750,000 SAV President 6847. We strive to breed top quality Angus cattle that work for the commercial breeder and the registered seed stock operations. We don’t select based on just EPD’s or data that isn’t proven. We select genetics that are deep bodied easy fleshing type that work in anyone’s environment. We place very high standards on udder quality, foot structure, and longevity. We don’t want to help calves nurse, we don’t trim feet on our cows or bulls, and we want them to last well into their teens. Overall, we feel this is the most complete and powerful set we have ever offered for public auction. We are offering over 90% AI sired bulls. The females come right from the heart of the herd, offering some foundation cow families that have started our program. We hope you can join us on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 2PM CST at the ranch in our NEW HEATED SALE BARN! Feel free to call us anytime with questions or if you would like to stop in and check out the offering. Once again, we will hold the sale online for our friends and customers that cannot make it on sale day. Check it out online at www.dvauction.com. Videos will be posted for all sale lots prior to the sale. Visit our website at www. brownsangusranch.com for more info. We look forward to visiting and meeting you on sale day! Sincerely,

Rainmaster is a complete breeding piece from the breed historic Flush by Charlo X SAV Blackcap May 4136. He offers the best no holes performance record of any of the flush brothers, posting ratios of 86 for BW, 106 WW, 103 YW, 103 IMF, and 103 REA. He has exceeded all of our expectations and has added as much calving ease and muscle as any bull we’ve ever used before.

Possibly the best phenotype bull in the offering. This bull is stout made, with worlds of Angus character. We have high expectations for this bull. His dam has never missed. Last year her SAV Regard son was a high seller at $5,000 and sold to Don Laeger. She posts some outstanding records. 5@111 weaning, 3@107 yearling, 3@100 IMF, and 3@115 RE. This is a stud quality bull with earning potential. We would like to use him back in our own program.
A great son of the multi-million-dollar flush at Schaff Angus Valley. This bull here has been a standout calving ease bull since birth. A blending of the great breeding bull Coleman Charlo and SAV Blackcap May 4136 just screams calving ease and muscle. That is exactly what this bulls characterizes. Moderate framed good disposition. This bull belongs to my son Parker!

An International 2020 son with a massive middle. This bull has been a standout since birth, his dam has been a productive cow in our program stemming back to one of our foundation cow families the Black Jestress’s. These Black Jestress cows are hard to fault in terms of udder quality, fertility, and longevity.
Instrumentation is an absolute stud of a bull. He is very stout, massive ribbed, great muscle patterned, while standing on a great set of feet. This bull will be one of the favorites on sale day due to his pure size and powerful presence. His dam is one of the best and most powerful Connealy Impression daughters we own. Shes moderate in size and super easy fleshing and has a good udder. This bull has potential to be a great breeding bull in a league of his own.

A calving ease Sensation bull with tons of rib and dimension. His young dam is a daughter of the great AC Rosetta 736 cow that was a donor for us and we lost early due to untimely death. We were fortunate to have this daughter bred in the Ash Coulee program and 2 flush sisters by SAV Regard 4863 which will carry on the Rosetta line for us. Very good fertility in the cow line. The dam of Sensation 8060 bred right back AI as a first calf heifer.

A calving ease Elimination son with tons of shape and eye appeal. These Elimination sons are going to make some fantastic females. The dam of this bull has a good udder with nice teats. Which is something we watch extremely close in our selections of bulls and donors. Heifer bull with style.
An Elimination 5301 son with style and muscle shape in a nice made package. He is stout made with Angus character. Dam is a daughter of the great Canadian sire HF Tiger 5T. She has the most beautiful udder on the place, with perfect attachment and small teats. Grand-dam last till she was in her teens and had left us with many daughters and went back to the highly recognized maternal King N Bar Emulation EXT. Maternal with great calving ease.

Chunk is his nickname. This bull is about as stout and wide bodied as anything I’ve ever laid eyes on. He will be a favorite among breeders looking to moderate and add some width to their calves. Use this bull on some larger framed cows that need base width. Renown has been a great breeding bull for us and we continue to use him.

A favorite bull of every visitor that has seen him. We didn’t get this bull photoed for the catalog but he has the look of a herd bull. His dam was one of the best cows we had on this ranch until she got hurt and we had to cull her. She had a gorgeous udder with perfect teats. We really regret not getting this cow flushed. This bull will be a great asset to your program. Keep the daughters and the steers will be sale toppers.
Possibly the longest 2-year-old we are offering. He is from the great foundation Black Jestress cow family. The Black Jestress cow family has been a fore runner in the program since day one. They are extremely fertile cows with angular fronts and deep middles. The granddam of this bull was a donor for us until the age of 16.
