Did You Know? Dance helps children develop emotionally, socially and cognitively. The dedication, discipline and focus children must learn and practice are important life skills that will transfer over to school, work and other aspects of their lives.

Our Character Focus for November is

Community!

Look for a culture card coming home with your child when we notice them displaying this trait, either in the classroom or the lobby at Backstage!

Parent Education

Backstage would like to partner with you on your parenting journey! We will inform you of parenting workshops and speaker series that may be of interest to you, and hope to bring you some of our own events throughout the year.

In November, THIRA Health’s medical director, Dr. Tuesday Burns, will help parents understand the effects that hormones have on growing bodies, the relationship between hormones, stress, depression, and anxiety, and what steps parents can take to help their teens. This webinar will be held on Tuesday, November 9 at 6:00pm. Registration is free, via Zoom. Register HERE.

Parent Watch Week Canceled

Due to the fluid situation with COVID and the continued, changing mandates we have canceled our parent watch week. We hope to bring back an open lobby as soon as safely possible.

Are you a new Dance Parent? Learn the lingo and get your FAQ's answered HERE

Top 3 FAQ's Can I add or change classes? Yes! Enrollment is open until November 30th as space is available. Acro and tech classes will continue to be available throughout the year as those classes do not participate in the spring show.

Class Show Assignments - What does the show color mean? The show color differentiates eight separate entertaining & balanced performances for all of our families to enjoy. We publish this information when our fall schedule is released (check your class description on the website) to allow our families with more than one child, or more than one class, to have the choice as to how many performances they wish to participate in from the get-go.

Are make-up classes available? Yes! If you are absent from your regular class you are welcome to make up in a comparable age/level class. Contact us if you have questions for comparable class options!
