Here’s a good looking, round ribbed, sound built ewe that can fit multiple operation goals. We purchased her dam at Newell, and she has produced countless top ram and ewe sale prospects. Bred to Berg 4023 we expect this mating to produce stout made, larger outlined lambs.

From our top maternal line. Her dam always weans our heaviest lambs. Maternal brother is “Chore Boy” now lead stud in the Pearson flock in ND. Marked 8/8 to “Buddy” GWC 1513-23. We leased this ram last year from Greg Cox and were rewarded with a super set of lambs so we got him again this year to use a little heavier.

Pretty patterned ewe that will always give you a good look no matter where she sets up. Her granddam is 1863 who has been our top producing ewe year over year. Her dam is set up to have her 3rd lambing this fall. Talk about prolific. Bred to VanDyke 162, should produce a set of lambs with size and muscle. RR

We love how this one balances up and gets progressively deeper through her rear rib and flank. Pair this with the correct flex to her hock and pastern when set in motion, she’s one that’s built as good as they come. Bred to VanDyke 162, these lambs would be stout and attractive, ready for production or even the show ring.

This is a ewe I really like. She has good rib, is big boned and good footed. She goes back to the P60 line. That is the same ewe family that produced Big Ben and numerous show sheep for us. Great deal of old Luxford blood here. The McKay buck is HUGE. His daughters are good sized and they are all big ribbed heavy boned sheep. They are some of our favorites. Bred to Benda 24162. He is a son of the Cox 2 ram and his dam is one of the Hodges ewes we purchased.

This tall fronted, level topped ewe won’t disappoint! Maternal grandsire, “Charlie”, was Supreme Champion Ram in South Dakota 4-H Show a few years ago. Matched with Beckmier’s Uncle Sam on top, this ewe has the look to make a great yearling to show, as well as the production background to be a solid brood ewe.

Super thick front to rear, and with huge rib, this ewe lamb placed first or second in class at South Dakota State Fair 4-H, FFA and Junior Southdown Shows. The bottom side of her pedigree includes some of our best, most consistent producing ewes, so she’ll make a great brood ewe to produce fast growing lambs for show, sale and replacements.

We were blessed with the opportunity to purchase the Toth flock this summer. We couldn’t be more grateful for this. That said, we are limited on space to lamb in the Spring. This ewe flat out intrigues me. She is built so well, good-footed and pretty-made. Dew Drop Farms has been pumping out some good ones, and Darin has been known to sell his best ones. It shows in this one. I hope she stuck to “Twisted Trickster” because it should be a hammer (pictured). She was my toughest decision to sell right away from the Toth flock. Don’t miss her.

Lessman 152 is big topped and feminine in her design. She looks to be super competitive next summer as a yearling. She was 4th of 21 in the SD State Fair 4-H show and 5th of 22 in a stacked SD State Fair Open Class show. Dam was sired by “Tatanka” and grand dam is a “Remedy” daughter that consistently lays down and gives us keepers every January.

I committed to this sale, but boy it can be hard to sell these brood ewes sometimes. This ewe is another one that came with the Toth flook. I mated her to “Ragweed”, the 2024 Champion Ram from NAILE and then put her with “Benchmark”. I will clean up with “Twisted Trickster” until sale day. This ewe is a complete one that has some rib design. If my barn was not going to be full, I would have held on to her. My loss; your gain.

We have had so much success with Weston sheep. This one is no exception. This ewe is cool-fronted and wild-colored. We retained a daughter from her so we feel we can offer her at the Northstar Sale. These ewes ran with some of our best rams. I put her in with “Twisted Trickster” (pictured) to start with; he was Champion Ram at NAILE in 2023. Then she went with “Benchmark”, the Champion Ram at last year’s Ohio State Fair for Little Oaks Livestock.

This ewe is pretty special in my eyes. She is a big-bodied, solid-made genetic giant of a female. Opportunities like this are not found very often. She is sired by “Howdy”, Champion Ram at Louisville 2018 and dammed by the infamous “Bingo” ewe, Champion Ewe 2018 NAILE. This ewe is just a special as her mom. She was put in first with “Twisted Trickster”, then “Benchmark” (pictured) and will go back in with “Twisted Trickster” until sale day. Whichever way she breeds, I think it clicks hard in a super positive way. Don’t let this chance slip away.

If you like your females to run up hill, this one is for you. She has that wide hip with a high tail set that we love at PENC. Her dam was Alex’s keeper yearling ewe in ‘23 that Lloyd and I talked him out of. “Verdict” daughters are going to be worth their weight in gold and around here as they reach production. She will be exposed to “Bang”, our Keeper ET Ram out of “Who Made Who” and “Big Twin”. “Bang” is a full brother to arguably our best ewe ever, “White Nose”. Pretty salty chance at a great mating.
