Prayer Watches

Part 1:

Laying the Foundation for The 8 Prayer Watches,

(Understanding Terminology, Understanding the Power of Your Tongue, (Words & Phrases NOT to USE)

What are The 8 Prayer Watches and exactly how many of you have ever heard of them, less known, how many of you understand what happens within each one and the targets that one can pray to see the devil’s plans destroyed and backfired?

The 8 Prayer Watches are times of days, afternoons and nights covering 24 hours within three-hour intervals; while every watch has a purpose within the spirit realm, they are the shift changes of the angels ascending and descending from heaven to earth and from earth back to heaven. A prime example of that, could be when Jacob encountered the angels descending and ascending on a ladder from heaven; (Genesis 28:10-17) KJV.

Within a Roman soldier’s schedule, on a roman clock, or time of day, it was divided into 24 hours; 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness. The Romans divided the night into four watches which

having the fourth watch, being the last watch of the night: (4th Watch hours 3am to 6am).

So, your question may come into play as to how we went from four-night watches to eight prayer watches? Okay, who caught that?

The Romans were not operating for the Kingdom of God in Prayer but for other reasons based on their orders for the Roman empire.

Anyone who truly understands how things are set up within the spirit realm, will quickly understand that we serve a God who is an ORIGINATOR, while Satan is an imitator! Whatever God creates the devil copies.

Think about it for a moment; God created fruit as the sweetness of life and goodness to your health and wellness, while the devil has candy to rotten your teeth and to help your reach becoming a diabetic quickly.

God created the perfect union of male and female to be as one, while the devil has the ravaging spirit of homosexuality on the rampage; two men and/or two women living as husband and wife.

The point that I am making here, is that God’s Kingdom is set up like a military and of course the enemy knows that since he once lived within heaven, he finds ways to replicate that which was already created before he tries to alter it.

God is the pure Authoritative entity within Heaven as Satan is the prince of the air here within the earth. He hates the fact that God has power, and he does everything within his sick nature to copy everything that God has done.

Now let’s lay some foundation here.

*The definition of the word PRAY, is to call upon in supplication; a humble request for help from someone in Authority; (ultimately that should be GOD)! (2 Chronicles 7:14). KJV.

*The definition of the word PRAYER is an earnest or urgent request without carrying a spirit of anxiety. (Philippians 4:6), KJV.

*The definition of the word WATCH is to practice staying awake for devotional purposes; (Psalm 119:148). KJV.

*The definition of the word WATCHMEN is a person employed to keep watch for some

anticipated event! (Isaiah 62:6 and Ezekiel

chapter 33). KJV.

(A question that I would like to ask each of you, is would YOU ALL still be employed if PRAYER was your job, or would you all go to sleep like the disciples who could not stay awake to pray with Jesus for one hour before he went to the cross?) (Matthew 26:36-46). KJV.

** Now, as I began to talk about the word target, which can be a noun or a verb, I literally found five definitions!

* The first definition for the word TARGET, (noun)- a reference point to shoot at.

*The second definition for the word TARGET, (noun)- the person who is an aim of an attack by some hostile person or influence.

*The third definition for the word TARGET, (noun)- the goal intended to be attained.

*The fourth definition for the word TARGET, (noun)- the location of the target that is to be H.I.T (Have Intentional Target)!

*The fifth definition for the word TARGET, (verb)- intend something to move towards a certain goal.

Within the Prayer Watches, one must master the

skill of Strategy.

•The definition for the word Strategy, is an elaborate and systematic plan of action.

Once strategies have been put into place and targets are understood by covering perimeters to protect portals, while one intercedes within spiritual warfare, YOU NOW WILL BECOME A THREAT TO THE CUNNING NEMESIS CALLED SATAN and his demons and principalities!

*The definition for the word Perimeter, is the boundary line or the area immediately inside the boundary.

*The definition for the word Portal; (Doorways/Gates), is a BIG grand and imposing entrance.

*The definition for the word Intercede, is to act between parties with a view to reconcile differences, the definition for the word (Intercessor), is a “negotiator” who acts as a link

between parties, (Normally, the one who wears

the Spiritual Bullet Proof Vest)!

* The definition for the word Warfare, is the waging of armed conflict against an enemy

A MAJOR POINT TO REMEMBER IS THIS…

“WHOEVER POSSESSES THE GATES, POSSESSES & CONTROL EVERYTHING!”

We as intercessors for the Kingdom of God, have the power to bring the WILL OF HEAVEN to the EARTH; (Matthew 6:10),

Matthew 16:16-19, Lamentations 2:19, Exodus

27:21, and because God’s Word is settled within Heaven, we must WATCH our words that we speak from our mouths; Psalm 119:89, Proverbs 18:21, and Isaiah 55:11. KJV.

I believe that prayer is somewhat like an airplane; it must have somewhere to take off from and somewhere to land.

Where are your prayers landing?

NOTE: The Spirit realm is very sensitive to our words, especially when it comes to Prayer. We must believe what we are saying when we are

praying it and we must be mindful of our conversations before and after prayer.

(Ephesians 4:29). KJV. The bible tells us in Matthew 6:12, that we are to ask God to forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. So, sisters and brothers, PLEASE BE SENSITIVE TO THE WORDS THAT FLOW FROM YOUR TONGUES, especially if you plan to enter prayer for POWER TO BE UNLEASHED from the Kingdom of Heaven! The Spirit realm responds ONLY to the PURE unadulterated WORD OF GOD!

Words & Phrases we MUST NOT USE & WHY

Anyone who knows me, will tell you that I have a problem when people, (ESPECIALLY BELIEVERS), use the word WORRY within their conversation with me and rightfully speaking, the word WORRY is not in the bible, but the Word of God clearly says that God will PERFECT THOSE THINGS THAT CONCERN ME; not those things that WORRY ME! (Psalm 138:8). KJV.

The word WORRY is a word that represents fearfulness and being afraid of the unknown; full of doubt, but I question, why do we worry and become fearful of the unknown, when GOD IS ALL

KNOWING and if we trust Him totally, then what’s the problem?

Example, someone may say, “I am worried about not having enough.”

So, you ask WHY is this dangerous to say or why it’s dangerous to use the word worry?

Well, for one, prayer can be hindered if you say this and then say God is your Jehovah Jireh, (Your Provider of just enough), because now in the spirit realm, it appears that you are double minded!

You see, because God has not given us a Spirit of Fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind, you must operate within confidence with everything that comes from your tongue.

Fear and demons are BEST FRIENDS…

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT and be sure not to make them your BEST FRIENDS or your prayers will become spiritually constipated within the spirit realm… Yep, I said it; spiritually constipated, in other words, locked up from being released into your life! So, detox your spiritual system by being mindful of what not to say into the spirit realm!

The truth is, no one can constipate your system but you, based on what you digest!

Another word that many of us are used to speaking, is the word SICK!

Some of us have said these words; “I am Sick!”

Okay, we all are guilty of saying that at some point within our lives, but what happens once you learn the truth of what you can say?

We will be held responsible for what WE DO KNOW, not what we don’t know.

How can we be effective intercessors and warriors in prayers if we are confessing that we are SICK?

Since when did the scripture say that BY HIS STRIPES, I AM SICK? (Laughing Out Loud)!!!!!

Take a moment to think about that!

If you are reading from a most common King James Version bible, Isaiah 53:5, will tell you that BY HIS STRIPES, YOU ARE HEALED!

Saints, please wake up and check your words and be transformed by the renewing of your minds, (Romans 12:2), which is a process that you must master every day.

For how can we have power in prayer when some

of us don’t have enough power to bust through a wet paper bag?

PORTALS (Doorways/Gates)

NOTE: JESUS IS A PORTAL; John 14:6, KJV,

“Jesus said to him, I am the way and the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me!”

(Now, let’s not forget that evil angels are just as able to come through portals as the good ones!)

Every place we go in life, we must go through a DOOR/GATEWAY and within The 8 Prayer Watches, portals are opened constantly. Jacob’s Ladder of Angels Ascending & Descending is one of the most vivid displays of this fact; (Genesis

28:12).

Receive this revelation with a receptive heart as you read the following words.

There is an open way between heaven and earth for each of us. The movement of the tide and the circulation of the blood are NOT more regular than the intercommunication between heaven and earth. Jacob may have thought that God was local, but he found him to be OMNIPRESENT! You see, once

Jacob found God within his own heart, he found our Heavenly Father EVERYWHERE and we must rest to know that because our Heavenly Father is EVERYWHERE, we have the power to access Him at any time that we desire to be within His presence. So, open your mouths and began to PRAY, for your prayers is how you communicate to the Almighty God for Him to unleash power!

In Second Kings 2:1, it said that when the Lord was about to take Elijah up to heaven by a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were going from Gilgal- (NOTE: The whirlwind became a PORTAL to allow Elijah to ascend into heaven).

In Second Kings 6:11-12, Elisha’s ears became portals to hear the King of Syria’s words that were spoken within his bed chambers; {It is possible for

God’s people to be allowed access legally to hear

conversations within the Spirit!} Elisha heard the King of Syria’s words and told the King of Israel.

In Second Kings 6:15-17, Horses & Chariots of Fire were seen within the Spirit realm; by the young man who was Elisha’s servant.

In Second Kings 6:18-20, Elisha’s words held great power when he PRAYED, and God honored his request. It is believed by some, that Elisha prayed

within the situation within the second watch, (9PM to 12AM), which the target point within this watch is HUMAN & DIVINE FAVOUR!

He received his provision or supply of strength, abilities, and freedom from ALL limitations etc. He had Divine Protection when the Horses & Chariots of Fire appeared within the Spirit.
