WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE BABSON MEMORY?

Pitching my business idea during the Rocket Pitch competition was my favorite Babson memory. My goal was to come to Babson to work on a business idea and learn from the experience. The Rocket Pitch competition provided me the platform to talk about my idea and receive feedback that I wouldn’t get otherwise from some of the smartest people.

I came to Babson as a microfinance consultant, and through opportunities and the connections I made at Babson, I am leaving with a product and a company I can scale into a fully fledged microfinance bank in Kenya and Africa.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE BABSON MEMORY?

Working as a research assistant under Professor Lidija Polutnik was one of the best things that happened to me at Babson. With her guidance, I was able to explore my interest in research and acquire cutting-edge analytical skills. The skills I learned under her helped me to get two internships and perform well at them. Apart from being one of the top teaching faculty, she was also a great mentor who was always there for me. I am really thankful to Babson College for giving me a lifetime mentor like Lidija.

This photo was taken at the Thai Food Party in 2019, organized by Thai MBA students. I felt really great seeing people from different countries trying Thai food. In the photo, everyone is doing an Asia-styled mini heart, which is quite funny but very lovely.

This photo was taken during our elective abroad class to Sweden in May 2019. It defines my experience because in Stockholm we worked on teams from around the world to design a product concept in just one week. It was an unforgettable experience!
