TECHNICAL CAPABILITY MEPtrix

We provide BIM modelling for all building trades for both new and existing projects.

All modelling is completed using industry best practice and Revit native elements wherever possible.

We develop families in-house to ensure accuracy and integrity of the dataset to enable effective BIM data at the completion of the project. We also develop software solutions to automate processes and enforce consistency (see MEPtrix to right)

We can model any require building service in-house and provide high quality coordinated detail drawings of each trade for use on the construction site. This ensures effective coordination and avoids expensive site rework and rectification

We can provide coordination and clash reports / resolution using the Navisworks platform. Clash reports are actively managed to resolve problems across all disciplines and stakeholders on larger projects

We can also manage and convert most file formats used within the building services community, including PDF, DWF, DWG, DXF, IFC and many others

Developed by Maxcad MEPTrix for Revit

The MEPtrix software began back in the early 90's on the AutoCAD platform It is still available today and is supported on AutoCAD 2023 and earlier releases It is a full 3D modelling system and provides a BIM solution for AutoCAD users including automated detailing of elements directly from the 3D model (similar concept to Revit).

We are now developing MEPtrix tools for Revit as a completely new application On the Revit platform MEPtrix automates common tasks that are difficult or impossible to achieve within native Revit It also includes customised Revit families that are automated via the MEPtrix tools to enhance the accuracy and speed of model creation.

MEPtrix also automates the numbering and tagging of model elements increasing the productivity of detailers producing building services fabrication and installation drawings.

We continue to work closely with our users to continually refine and customise MEPtrix to ensure it meets the ever evolving demands of today's building services drafters / modellers
