Nestled along the stunning Mediterranean coast in Italy’s Collabria region with breathtaking views of Sicily and the historic city of Scilla, this architectural project is designed to harmoniously integrating with its sloping terrain, which features a series of retaining walls that enhance the landscape.

The project envisioned a community of 13 villas and townhouses, complemented by inviting public commercial spaces. The design philosophy focuses on creating architecture that seamlessly merges with the terraced landscape, blurring the lines between interior and exterior spaces.

To achieve this, the project employs natural, rough materials and uneven forms, allowing the building’s walls to extend into the existing terraces. Each structure incorporates naturally shaped wells carved taking into considiration the existing rocks, creating optimal sunlight.
