If you’ve ever thought that festivals and faires are all about merry mischief and indulgence, think again! Among the bustling market stalls and colorful attractions at this year’s Bronze Celebration, one tent is drawing crowds not with treats or trinkets, but with its lifesaving, and downright magical services
What makes a market or faire medical tent unique? Well, for starters there tends to be more injuries and mishaps than illnesses Curses from magical items or sparring injuries are most common, followed closely by stomach upset caused by overindulging or spicy faire foods Location matters too, at a Brewfest medical tent high in snow capped mountains, frostbite might be the most common ailment. The Bronze Dragonflight Celebration happening now in the desert outside the Caverns of Time has many cases of dehydration and sunburn according to Head Trauma Surgeon, Doctor Gustaf VanHowzen, “Folks come here for fun, but accidents happen The medical tent is here to help ”

Yet this year, only silence fell upon city as the feastivities began Family and friends gathered our tables without a single sign or protest to be heard Which begs to question, what happened to the turkeys?
Have they been hunted to extinction? Or have they accepted their fate and the fate of their loved ones? Yet, some speculate that the turkeys may have gone underground, strategizing for a greater rebellion for next year
Regardless, this quiet Pilgrim’s Bounty has left many Stormwind residence wondering what happened to the turkeys and have their protest come to a bitter end
NEW CENTER PROMISES ARTISTIC FUTURE

It will also serve as a showcase for the incredible creations born within

BROCCOLI CHEDDAR SOUP

We all know just how cold it’s been and is going to continue to get. So what is better than some nice warm soup? This time, we are going with a wonderful broccoli cheddar that I love to make when I need something to warm me up quickly
Ready in 50 minutes
Serves 6 people
Ingredients
1 small onion, chopped
1 medium carrot, chopped
1 celery stalk, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour, AP, whole wheat or gluten-free flour
3 cups less sodium chicken broth, or vegetable broth
1 cup fat free milk
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
fresh black pepper, to taste
6 cups broccoli florets, chopped into small pieces, about 2 heads
1-1/4 cups shredded sharp cheddar
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
1.Chop onion, carrot, celery, garlic in a chopper or mini food processor
2 In a large pot, melt the butter Add the chopped vegetables, salt and pepper and sauté on low heat until soft, about 5 minutes
3. Stir in the flour to create a roux, cooking for 2 minutes to remove the raw flour taste
4 Gradually whisk in the chicken broth, ensuring there are no lumps
5 Add the milk and increase heat to high until it comes to a boil, then add broccoli florets, Parmesan cheese, and stir well
6 Adjust salt and pepper to taste Cook uncovered over low heat until broccoli is cooked, about 10 minutes.
7 Using an immersion blender quickly blend part of the soup for a quick second or two If you don’t have an immersion blender, remove about 1-2 cups of soup and blend, then add it back to the soup. This helps thicken it a bit.
8. Gently stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, allowing it to melt smoothly
9. Serve the soup hot, garnished with additional cheddar cheese, if desired
