It seemed to watch me for the longest time, almost lookin’ right through me, and I am not ashamed to say my blood ran cold -it did I was mighty relieved when the ghost turned and kept going towards Southshore.”

This region has a long history of tragedy, from the battles with the old Horde, to the exodus of humans fleeing the Scourge, and through the destruction of Southshore by the forsaken and their plague Yet, through it all, the region has maintained most of its beauty, a testament to its resilience. Now added to the storied history of the region and busy farms and towns of today are regular sightings of ghosts The message they continue to spread to the living remains, “The queen will restore the great human kingdoms ” What this means remains a mystery

First to report the specters fighting was Jonas Thatcher, a Southshore sentry who commented, “Not all of the ghosts agree with the message ” Previous reports had only shown evidence of peaceful, sometimes frightening, sometimes friendly encounters with the specters that seemed to add to the folklore of the Keep. The onset of fighting amongst the ghosts has alarmed authorities At this time authorities in Southshore are more involved with investigating the phenomena than their counterparts in Stromgarde Advisor Duskingdawn of Tarren Mill explains, “This is partly because the denizens in Southshore are more experienced with undead happenings Mostly though the authorities are now concerned that the spirits appear to be fighting one another at times and citizens may be harmed or dragged into the conflict ”

Glowdrops have not been seen on Azeroth before this Herbalists have identified that it is a new plant as the result of ongoing superbloom. This plant is as beautiful, and as sweet smelling as it is toxic Chefs initially

hailed the pollen as a delicious new sugar source Very quickly it was clear that the Glowdrop pollen was dangerously toxic The reason for Glowdrops to have this sweet but deadly pollen is now being studied by researchers in Valdrakken Initial studies are that Glowdrop pollen is a powerful enchanting catalyst Even small amounts of the Glowdrop pollen can be deadly if ingested.

Efforts are underway to remove, collect, and study the Glowdrops as safely as possible It is safe to handle, but should not be eaten by any persons or animals. Glowdrops can be identified by their towering tong stems that unfurl from deep green, waxy, canoe shaped leaves A heavy blossom of glowing white will tip the stem over as it grows. INSIDE DR. RICO DELBRINGER’S TWONIGHT EXPEDITION

With the Saint Mereldar Children's Research Hospital Charity Ball out of the way, I took the opportunity to speak with some of the winners of the Two-Night Expedition funded and hosted by Doctor Rico Delbringer, an archaeologist, researcher, and self-proclaimed megalomaniac

Firstly, it's worth noting that one of the winners, Ezriel Kreinath, was unable to take advantage of this once-in-alifetime opportunity He stated, "Due to getting orders the day before that I was going elsewhere on the day of, given a mission that was of the utmost importance, to my annoyance I missed my chance to go on this adventure I was truly looking forward to it It sounded as if it would be fun

I truly regret not being able to go, but orders are orders My commander and Her Majesty The Blood Queen needed me first and foremost ” Another winner, Aletana Sephiran, did not respond to my requests for an interview.

Thankfully, I was able to sit down and speak with Vynlorin Shandaumath, who was kind but clearly regretted opening the door. When asked if Doctor Rico Delbringer provided a wellorganized expedition, he answered, "Yes, everything was organized I don't enjoy camping, but it was as painless as it could have been " Regarding the locations or sites covered during the expedition, he mentioned, "Stormheim The locations were The Terrace of the Watchers, Amberfall Mesa, and the place I found the most interesting, The Runewood "

I inquired about any challenges or obstacles encountered during the expedition Vynlorin expressed, "The challenges were digging through the dirt I despise dirt " It was apparent he may not have

truly enjoyed himself, so I asked if there were any highlights or memorable moments from the expedition He responded, "Highlights? Hmm Despite not caring for expeditions like this, I did recover some curious artifacts, including a spear with some arcane enhancements and a demon's skull that seems to be some sort of magical focus I'll be looking into them more when I have time."

When asked if the expedition met his expectations, he replied, "I didn't have many expectations going into this, so yes, it did exceed them " I inquired next, what lessons or insights were gained from the expedition?

Vynlorin shared, "I learned a bit of the history of Stormheim, which has sparked some of my own curiosity that I'll be looking into. I also expect that I'll learn more when I reach back out to Doctor Delbringer at a later date regarding the artifacts I acquired "

GENERAL

Since I was unable to interview the other winners, I wondered if he got along with the other participants His reply was simple, "I didn't speak with the other participant much, but we had no issues " With cold company and a disdain for dirt, I wondered if Vynlorin Shandaumath would ever recommend this expedition to anyone I was shocked to hear, "Yes, I would recommend the expedition, especially to those who actually enjoy digging through the outdoors." Despite everything, he seemed to enjoy himself and, by the end of our interview, began to sing Doctor Delbringer's praises for not being “overbearing”

In conclusion, readers, my heart goes out to Doctor Rico Delbringer It must be difficult sharing your passions with those who seem disconnected and disinterested However, she continues to shine brightly, that she can make even the most disinterested appreciate a good outing I wonder what other adventures will she do in the future

Thrumble pressed on, inch by inch, he clawed his way through the treacherous tunnels, refusing to succumb to despair And then, just when all seemed lost, he saw it a faint glimmer of light shining in the distance

With a surge of adrenaline, Thrumble pushed forward, following the light until at last, he emerged into the open air, blinking in the sunlight as he breathed in the sweet scent of freedom He had emerged from the darkness, stronger and more resilient than ever before

And so, my friends, let us remember the tale of Thrumble Flameheart, and let it serve as a reminder that even in the darkest corners of Azeroth, there's always a glimmer of hope As long as we hold onto that hope, we can overcome any darkness that threatens to engulf us, emerging into the light stronger and more resilient than ever before.

MOUNTAIN SKILLET

With it being Midsummer coming up soon there is a lot of people out camping and enjoy the heat So why not a wonderful recipe to do over an open flame while out in the wilderness?

Ready in 40 minutes

Serves 4 people

Ingredients

2 tablespoons oil

½ pound gold potatoes; cut into cubes

1 green bell pepper diced

1 yellow onion diced

½ teaspoon sea salt

¼ pound sausage

6 eggs

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Chopped green onions and ground black pepper to serve

Preparation

1. Heat a large skillet over a medium sized flame and add 1 tablespoon of oil Add the potatoes and cook, turning them occasionally, until they begin to brown, about 10-15 minutes

4 Remove from the heat and top with sliced green onions and black pepper.

2. Add another tablespoon of oil and the green bell pepper Saute for 5 minutes until beginning to soften, then add the onion and salt Saute for about 5 minutes until the onion is soft and beginning to take on color. Add the sausage and cook until browned.

3 Thoroughly beat the eggs in a bowl Once all the vegetables are soft and browned, lower the flame some and push them to the sides of the pan. Add a bit of oil to the center of the pan, then add the eggs and the shredded cheese to the skillet Use your spatula to scramble the eggs until they set Then fold the vegetables back into the mix.
