There are many moments one remembers in their lifetime. Despite having a few thousand years worth of memories, there are still the core ones that will stand out against all others for me personally I mean I am Kaldorei after all I’ll always remember the first time I picked up my first sword, the first time I rode on the back of a Hippogryph, The Dark portal, Outland. There are a lot for me to choose from but this will be unlike something I have ever written before

Since we are nearing a very important date at the end of July I wanted to write about something that always comes to the front of my memories as we near this time. The Burning of Teldrassil

I’ve sat here staring down at this paper trying to put my thoughts into words for a few hours now, but this is a difficult task It’s been years since and there are still so many of us without homes So many of us still mourning lost family So many still mourning lives that were taken too soon

Despite turning my back on my people at one point, I feel I was able to redeem myself in the eyes of those I was able to save A shockingly low number To this day I still check in on the five person family I helped The youngest still says he wants to be like me when he’s older I highly suggested against that.

There were many nights shortly after where sleep eluded me Those night time thoughts quickly turned into “I should have saved more I COULD have saved more ” Looking back now, had I ran back into the fire,

I more than likely would not be here writing this.

I barely escaped with my life as it is The last thing I remember was tripping next to some stables after I knew the family was safe I awoke on the back of a Hippogryph that I still take care of. Sometimes I think, did someone else save me? Is there a life out there still that I should be thanking? I’ll more than likely never know

The wounds of this tragedy may have begun to heal, but the consequences are ones that are still felt by all on Azeroth This isn’t some kind of piece where I end with saying “remember Teldrassil”. No, we remember very well. What I hope to accomplish with this short piece is to remind us all that we are and will always be in this together

Whether we’re fighting against void creatures, demons, the horde, or giant dragons(again), we are all people of Azeroth In all times of dire need, we have banded together and have somehow beat the odds stacked against us

I want to talk about this more, but unearthing these memories are proving to be difficult, so, if you wish to get into the nitty gritty of this, please send us a message, and me a bottle of your strongest ale.

Archon Zariasona Emberspirit and her mate Lord Teremath Blacksorrow have come together to great a renowned tavern with a chaotic, yet strangely welcoming, environment One of the signature features of the tavern is its Patron of the Month Each month, The Serpent’s Den features an individual who has made waves within Azeroth. Already the tavern has had a wide variety of different individuals who have created massive waves

For the month of July, The Serpent’s Den is overjoyed to feature the one and only Luneia. Known for her shoutcasting for the Gnightly Gnews at Gnine, it’s not often that you get the chance to sit and converse with such an extraordinary woman Together, Luniea and I sat within The Serpent’s Den off hours so that I could have a chance to speak with her one on one.

A remarkable woman is quite the understatement when one speaks of Luneia herself Known for her voice carrying across the Lion’s Rest of Stormwind for her Gnightly Gnews at Gnine reports, it’s no wonder she’s become nothing short of a staple in the Kingdom It only made sense for The Serpent’s Den to feature her as Patron of the Month.

Having been born on Draenor, Luneia’s name is a combination of her mother and father’s names A true creation of love,

it’s easy to see that she carries with her that same care in all of her work Aside from being a Gnews reporter, she’s also known for her abilities as a healer and leatherworker. Of all the things she wishes to be remembered for in her life, it’s for her helpfulness to others on top of her cooking There’s nothing more comforting than a home cooked meal that’s been flooded with love

When she has the chance to go out on the town, she does have her few favorite hot spots that she loves to visit around Azeroth! One of those places include her best friend, brother, and co-host, Breel, who lives out in Ironforge He, too, is known for his wondrous recipes that he announces weekly during the Gnews. Other favorites include the Blue Recluse or the Golden Keg since they are near to home On the off chance she feels like venturing off to parts unknown, she has fallen in love with a humble tavern in Valdrakken

known as the Ruby Feast For her, it’s the dragon and the duck chef that truly make it a one of a kind experience.

As far as relaxation goes, everyone has their go-to’s For Luniea, it’s the library within her own home With a wide variety of books to pick from, it’s easy to get lost within ones own imagination to visit parts unknown But when that’s not quite doing it, there’s always the hot springs. Out of all the springs on Azeroth, the Pandaria one is surely her favorite as it’s not in the dead of Winterspring There’s never any fun in having to go from fully dressed to your swimsuit in frigid temperatures!

ith our conversation turning to more solemn notes, One of the questions I had asked her was what she’d want to tell her fans The advice she gave was even quite humbling for myself After a moment of thinking she stated,“Be kind to others, and to yourself We only have this

one life, and living it too selfishly or too selflessly will only lead to unhappiness in the long run ” It was quite humbling to be sitting beside such a remarkable woman who offered such wonderful words

Even the most popular of people have regrets, or things that they wished they had done differently. For Luneia? It was the time when fire was trying to talk to her Just before she realized she had the ability to become a shaman, she thought the effects of her mind was because of her time in a refugee camp as she tried to hide from orcs

Needless to say, she’s glad that she’s found her way since then and has become a well known healer. Even when she offers aid to heal, people try to pay for her services She kindly asks that they instead donate to the Stormwind Orphanage

Not everyone is always overjoyed when the Gnews takes off at night. One of the struggles that she, and the rest of the Gnews team, try and endure are those individuals who dislike the spread of information A mass majority of people love and adore the Gnightly Gnews as it gives them the chance to hear about the goings on of Stormwind So how does she press on in light of backlash? Well, She merely presses on. One thing she’s discovered is in the head of adversity that simply ignoring them and carrying on can make a world of difference She even said that if one of them wrote a book about her, it’d be aptly titled, “Loud Mouths That Won’t Shut Up” Together we had quite the chuckle over that.

While she and I covered a wide variety of topics, there was

much she wanted to discuss but we sadly didn’t get to discuss. Family is quite important to her, and she would have loved to have spent far more time speaking about them and her pets, like her lanticore spawnling named Bagel With four children of her own, she’s certainly busy outside of her Gnews work. Even her elementals that hang around her deserve an honorable mention.

When it’s all said and done,

it’s no wonder that she’s been chosen for The Serpent’s Den’s Patron of the Month A remarkable, yet humble woman who certainly deserves far more credit than she receives If you get the chance, you should certainly head to Stormwind at the Lion’s Rest fountain at the toll of 9 bells in the evening to catch her voice bellowing into the city as she, and others, work to provide information to the people of Stormwind

the Month’s End Brawl (MEB) and starting a fighting competition that has outlived two Warchiefs and multiple defining eras of Azeroth.

While originally a Horde only event, the MEB has always had Alliance and neutral participants, often taking part wearing shoddy disguises made of greasepaint and cardboard With the dawning of the fourth war, Corta officially opened the MEB to Alliance participants.

“When equal powers clash, the truth is revealed” pronounces Corta at the beginning of every brawl, quoting her old master Adarealin before continuing, “You do not truly know someone until you fight them ” And that is the intent of the MEB, empathy through violence. People are quite practiced at social deception, lying with words and propaganda, but in the fight, these lies become more hollow

“ To show that we are not all that different, for there is no more honest language then that of fists. To understand that we all bleed, and have desires and are all mortal... not just Neutral or Horde or Alliance

If you learn the name and personality of your enemies, t is harder to keep calling them enemies.

The MEB has become an institution, held every last Friday of the month at the temple of the Jade Serpent in Pandaria

Signups begin at 8:00 pm, all you have to do is line up between the red and blue markers. Signups close at 8:30 pm and from there, the bracket is announced and the fighting begins

The MEB has more rules than most tournaments, sometimes taking up to ten minutes to discuss, but all the rules have been made for good reason, reactions to incidents and upsets along the Brawl’s long history. Despite over a hundred events, and brackets of forty combatants or more, there hasn’t yet been a single death This doesn’t mean the fighting competition isn’t dangerous, and there have been a few close calls along the way

All this background brings us to today, where I entered the MEB myself, joining twenty-five other fighters for the chance for the prize and the glory that comes with it

In a display of sheer grace, power, and unbridled athleticism, the first annual championship horse race unfolded yesterday at the prestigious Norwington Estate Eager spectators gathered from far and wide, their hearts pounding with anticipation, as the finest thoroughbreds and their skilled jockeys prepared to vie for glory on the track.

The race day dawned with clear skies and a gentle breeze, setting the stage for an unforgettable contest A field of top-tier horses, each meticulously trained and primed to outshine the rest, lined up at the starting lines Each rider and their companion were put to the test in four unique events. Whether you were here for Barrel Racing, Show Jumping, Horseback archery or even the flat race, there were spectators left on the edges of their seats

The leading horses swiftly established themselves, racing neck and neck, their determination etched in their powerful gazes.

Joining them this wondrous day would be a grand display of vendors, some who would leave your mouth drooling, others providing jewelry and trinkets to take home as souvenirs! Those needing a cool drink found their way to The Cast Company & Wares who offered such interesting ice cold beverages such as the Blended Green Stuff & Clutch Leave! Those feeling more adventurous found themselves at the Blind Tea Express stand offering some boozy tea alternatives for the race day!

The betting stands continued to serve as the vibrant epicenter of excitement and anticipation for passionate punters These bustling hubs provided individuals with immersive thrills of the race while placing wagers on their chosen equine contenders As the crowd cheers, spectators eagerly gazed over racecards, studying form guides, analyzing odds, and

strategizing their bets, hoping to strike it lucky and celebrate their chosen horse's triumph In an odd turn of events folks were surprised to learn that there would be no betting winners at this year's race

As the sun set on this remarkable display of equine prowess, the Norwington Estate was abuzz with excitement and a shared appreciation for the magnificent animals and their skilled riders. The race had delivered an unforgettable experience, leaving an enduring legacy in the annals of equestrian competition

Wolftooth, known for his impressive stature and intricate ruddish markings, shared that the art of tattooing in his family has been passed down through generations Using specific inks, direct needles, and a wooden mallet, the Frostwolf Clan has honored the Elements and their Ancestors through the markings on their bodies As he unfolded a small leather roll revealing a collection of tools and instruments, Wolftooth explained the significance of his tattoos as a history book of his life, symbolizing achievements, rituals, and even magically imbued runic tattoos of power.

Curious about this ancient tradition, I inquired about the process, particularly the use of a mallet Wolftooth revealed that his own markings were done in this manner, showcasing the authenticity of his craft. He emphasized that while the art form is steeped in history,

it is not purely a return to traditional style but rather a continuation of his clan's ancient practices.

The conversation took an unexpected turn as Wolftooth revealed his origins from an alternate Draenor, having been rescued by the Horde from their enemies Sadly, his grandfather, who had taught him the trade, did not survive the battle against the Lightbound and their cultists. However, Wolftooth found solace in knowing that his ancestors' spirits remain with him, guiding his path

My attention then shifted to Wolftooth's personal life, inquiring about his children and the possibility of passing down the family tradition. The proud father revealed that he has seven children, half of whom are Mag'har Orcs like himself, while the rest are Sin'dorei Elves Wolftooth expressed his desire to preserve his culture and gladly announced that his little ones are reaching an age where they can begin learning the art form if they wish to carry it forward.

When discussing the challenges he faces on Azeroth, Wolftooth admitted that initially, it was difficult to establish his business amidst the popularity of modern tattooing methods. His slow and rustic approach using the mallet and specific inks required more time and patience, but he emphasized that the spiritual experience and lasting significance of his work have attracted loyal customers

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 tbsp Brown sugar

2 tsp Baking powder

1 tsp salt

1 cup milk

1 egg

2 tbsp Vegetable oil

2 tsp vanilla extract
