Ask Ms Nightsky

Q.Hello, Ms Nightsky!

I like to share moments and experiences with all my friends, and people who I just met - it is something that brings me great joy, especially when they are having a lot of fun There are times, though, where I don't really feel like sharing or doing anything! I have this huge problem of not being able to say "no" whenever a friend asks me for a favor, and sometimes it leads me to situations that I don't want to be in My question is am I a bad person if I say "no"? Also, how can I deny someone without making them feel offended or sad?

Thank you, Ms. Nightsky!

A.Lhoreif Sharlazian, Hello! This is more common than you think. A lot of people deal with this Firstly, no, you are not a bad person if and when you have to say no. We all have said no and will many times in our future. I am bad at telling what some people call white lies when it comes to saying no I will say I have a prior engagement to attend to, when someone asks I attend something I don’t want to attend If they ask a favor that I can’t do or just do not want to do, I politely tell them I don’t have the means to aid them, or I wouldn’t know how to help them. If it’s something I just do not want to do, sometimes being honest is the best. I do not wish to help If they insist on asking why, personal reasons that you do not wish to currently be open with This is the best way I know how to say no and deal with this I wish you the best of luck dear

Q.MIss, Nightsky, I write seeking advice

My friend and an I are very close Yet there are feelings we both have for the same woman. I should know better, should not entertain such thoughts to act against my friend Yet she is like fire, burning me every moment we are together Her words crash into me like a violent wave against the walls I have built for control I have not felt this way in the thousands of years I have spent living. Let alone the years spent in Azeroth. I do not know what I am to do with myself Fear of losing control over and over with her Knowing all she need is ask What do I do?

A.Dear anonymous, If I knew a little more details I could answer this a little more straight forward. Is your friend dating this person for example Now knowing I will give a few ways, I would go about it Please remember this is just advice and you don’t have to take it

First, Be honest? Tell your friend how you feel if you know this friend is an understanding person Some people are ok with their lovers having other lovers They are few and far between Be honest in telling your friend and see how they react If they are dating the person this may be a little harder to do. If they are dating the person, do your best to behave. Dating is only dating Who knows, maybe something will happen and this woman will come running into your arms one day We can’t help who our hearts fall in love with If she is flirting with you, you should take into consideration, is she doing this to others as well? Again if she is dating.

People forget a few things about dating One thing is dating is getting to know someone, to find out if that person is the one you can spend forever with This is why some will date more than one person at a time.

If she’s not dating, be honest to her as well SHE should get a say in who she dates She may not know you have an interest in her and that’s why she’s only talking or dating your friend If she knew things may be different.

However, either way you go with this, you could just stay out of it and behave, let things play out Personally, I’d be honest with both of them I’d sit them both down and tell
