PRODUCER’S NOTE My mother always echoed the saying...

Never hide your light under a bushel.

It’s indeed an honour being a part of this journey alongside such an incredible cast.

So much of our work is about expressing our truth and providing a space for others to express themselves. This visceral energy, this ephemeral force is what we bring to the table. A healing vibration which we invite you to immerse yourself in and take with you on your journey in the hope that in some way the statement we make will resonate and reverberate in widening ripples and baptize the nation.

Quantifying this is no mean feat, making it available to the people takes enormous courage, sacrifice and hours of unswerving dedication.

To those who saw the vision and joined us in support to make this happen, we salute and thank you immensely. We have come a long way to this point and we have a long way yet to travel.

So many of us have a light which we keep locked away in a closet, out of fear. So many of us have never been to ourselves and know not what may be. This process has been a wonderful journey helping people to find their light and to find the courage to challenge themselves and expose themselves and to take their light and place it on the highest shelf so that they can help illuminate the room, so that we can all see ourselves and understand ourselves better. It is an honour to serve.

BUT BE NOT AFRAID… CRISIS = CHAOS + OPPORTUNITY……

BLUE 4EVER UN.

The Original Blue. It comes from planetary highs and the midnight deep.

With drums it comes, breathing life into creation.

Forged 4 the Love of Liberty 3messengers convened.

Their mission: to clear channels 4 expression 4 each and every in this reality…This Jouvay.

“Bring Yuh Drawers and Come” 3years.

Masked in the 3colours of our nation…always with the regal lining of the morning sun.

The invariable is change, in the Primordial Blue. Messengers shifting, masks exchanging hands. In a moment of gallery and mirth, a new mission was accepted ~ sparks ignited and RAPSO chosen as the channel of empowerment.

Masks make 4. 4luminaries accept the invitation to a Warrior nation.

In the Primordial We that occupies our deepest selves, 10,000 Blue Devils ascend to a Big Yard space and 4ever into a national consciousness.

This is the Blue that Begins Everything. The Blue of all 3canal Rapso Creations. It is a Blue that covers the halls of Jouvay history 4Ever.

TROIS.

4shapes emerging from the mist, take root and form ranks with other like minds.

Their Archetype set by the Ancients who fueled powers of rebellion, identity and purpose.

From the mist sounds the call from Angels ~ the Merciful Michael, Gabriel the Enforcer, Uriel because of whom God’s way is illumined and Raphael the Healer.

As the deep Blue rises, this belt of Rapso Warriors use apposite force to combine dark and light, as is Jouvay.

Jouvay is the Road Warriors chance Rapso and Drums the Road Warriors dance Vis.cos.i.ty ~ the netherworld between what is fixed and what is flowing.

Life is an Ouroboros Tale. In the continual search for and revelation of universal truths, the formations of us struggle, like warring Primordial bubbles, as we hope to ascend towards eternal enlightenment. It is a cyclical perpetuation: until our grounded missions fill with spirit ascendancy - everything is possible, potentials are endless.

Seeking perpetual beauty, Rapso Warriors meet constellations of musicians along the way. Stars collide and the Rapso mission grows in strength and spirit ~ warp and weft in surround sound, rebellious riddims that maintain a Primordial pump – the heartbeat of this Tale.

As the tail lengthens and coils make circles, the Deep Blue opens portals and closes doors, to show a purpose higher than our own.

According to a Tale older than 2000 years of a Creator, John-Uriel ascended to a Gayelle of Stars. In our mist, the permanent ArchAngel through which the coils of this tale proceed.

Blue 4Ever.

QUATRE. 4Ever Blue ~ machi-nations convene and continue‌ ALL TIME convenes in NOW. Messengers acquire greater responsibilities as the Age of Aquarius waxes. Angels convene on all four corners of this Primordial mass. The call is the same:

Existence is KEY Action is NOW BE, not to exist, but to BE Enter. Those Angels of Now. In an age where prophecies will be least concealed.

In a reverse of an optical phenom, there is a visceral emergence of the opposite natures of the Primordial Blue. So, the Angels bubble in continuation of the tail, on the road to current and catastrophic change, to emerge and light the way forward. These Angels of Now: This choir of 10,000 Pretty Rabid Glorious Dutty Angels.

Their reflections our beginnings, their potential our future.

Their purpose is to provoke the ire of consciousness to realisation of action. They show the Blue way to walk in Primordial Power and shine in Perpetual Beauty, amidst islands terrorised by misguided power, hyperbolic egos and many angry souls.

These Angels are our guardians. Fierce and Free.

Good Jouvay Morning Children!

It is our 2017 time! 20 years to this time of NOW. The self-righted and true-knighted Kings of the Jouvay reign the road in its brilliant light and visceral darkness.

We bring choirs of Angels. No Angles. More Love.

We all form 1 ~ straight lines, queer curves, square pegs and wrong dots ~ All are Welcome! And all are necessary in the spinning of our contemporary tails.

We gather these tales of our existence, 4Ever heeding the call of our ancestral selves. We create reflections that seek to edify and to inspire.

As we learn, we grow and we show. A mission Eternal.

In an explosion of surround sound and perpetual riddim the stories of the Primordial Blue will continue to unfold. Tails without end.

THE STORYTELLERS If you look at the world in terms of storytelling, you have, first of all, the man who agitates, the man who drums up the people — I call him the drummer. Then you have the warrior, who goes forward and fights. But you also have the storyteller who recounts the event — and this is one who survives, who outlives all the others.

It is the storyteller, in fact, who makes us what we are, who creates history.

The storyteller creates the memory that survivors must have — otherwise surviving would have no meaning…

This is very, very important… Memory is necessary if surviving is going to be more than just a technical thing.

BIRD-MAN / BIRD-WOMAN It takes heart to become one, the courage to be, to accept the separation from whatever life you embark from: the you who was never completed, the you who was never really there, the you now ripe for transformation into pure spirit of air. But first in that extremity of solitude that is itself the first test, there is the you that has been chosen to endure the fortress of cold, the fiery furnace, the you who must fast to near -death; the you who must gorge on sacred tobacco juice day after day till the visions come easy; the you that must accept your terrible gift of foretelling as the price of ecstasy; the you who at great risk must intuit and tame your guardian spirit; forge from bird song and calabash, feathers and spit, the implements of your sacred calling; the you who must practise hiring out your voice in the service of animals who will return it unrecognisably coarse but unsurpassed in it’s versatility; the you who must hang nine nights from the tree. At the end of all this suffering, you’ll find the Spirit Death alone come to bear you away. But trust me. Purified, you will rise again another day as that other being, the one destined to serve, destined to cure, destined to recover lost souls, destined, Poet, to sing. but first soul traveler, you have one more test to meet.
