AYLESBURY AWAKENS

FOR BUSINESS

The sun is shining, the birds are singing and the sound of people’s voices and laughter are slowly returning

to the town. Lockdown has been exceptionally hard for so many people including all the independent businesses throughout the town.

From mid-April businesses began to reopen their doors and welcome the public back into their establishments. Work has been undertaken to improve the town with extra planting, window wraps and glorious displays of hanging baskets. Many cafés and restaurants have outside seating encouraging people to enjoy alfresco time and meet up with friends as COVID rules allowed groups of up to six people.

As the town has reopened there is a plethora of street entertainment lined up for every Saturday between 11:30am-2:30pm in the town centre, alongside specialty markets. See visitaylesbury.co.uk for more details.

To celebrate reopening there will be craft stalls joining the main market on Saturday 26 June. If you would like to trade, please email diane.harrison@buckinghamshire. gov.uk for more information. The town will be celebrating on that day with businesses joining in with bunting and balloons. Now more than ever we need to shop local and support our businesses.
