There is no formally assessed coursework, nor any Controlled Assessment Tasks. Practical work is carried out throughout Years 9, 10 and 11. Knowledge of practical methods and techniques and skills in the analysis of results are tested in the written papers. The course starts at the beginning of Year 9.
