Opportunities to undertake Community Involvement will be available at the start of the academic year for both Years 12 and 13.

In recent years AGS has developed relationships with Stocklake Park and Harding House special schools in addition to a number of local mainstream Primary schools. Anyone wishing to embark on a career in the caring professions such as Medicine or Teaching should consider volunteering for a Community Involvement placement; Information will be available at the start of the academic year. Students have been encouraged in supporting the delivery of a wide variety of curriculum activities and also with lunchtime clubs and pursuits.
In addition, many students work with local primary schools as part of their Sports Leaders’ Award.
