We must provide facilities to encourage participation at all levels, motivate, and bring our growing community together. With this project, we aim to get more of Aylesbury, more active, more often.

The legacy of the 2012 Olympic Games not only built awareness of the importance of sport but improved participation, education and continues to improve accessibility in sport. It inspired people who are less active to engage in physical activity.

Defining the future of Sport at AGS is a key part of this. We have an obligation to meet the needs of our young people, both in the School and in the community, to tackle the problems we face in terms of inadequate and outdated facilities, and the problems we see young people struggling with every day in relation to their physical health (weight, diabetes, etc) and mental well-being.
