DISCOVERY GROUP CLASS INFORMATION

Starting Sunday, March 9, the Discovery Group will be reviewing the events of Christ's life from His entrance into Jerusalem through His crucifixion and burial for their Lenten study. For more detailed information, check out: tinyurl.com/DiscoveryClassLentenStudy.

This class will last through Sunday, April 27, and they meet in rooms 105 and 107 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each Sunday morning. All are invited for this deep dive into Holy Week! For questions, contact Curt Sylvester at heritage1667@comcast.com

Prayer List Week of February 17, 2025

• Sarah Dearduff would like prayers for her son-in-law’s mother, Barbara Ellis. Pray for peace, comfort, and for Barbara to be pain free.

• Mary Lee prays for Marshall and Sharon Heckaman. Marshall has cancer and heart problems. They’re in desperate need of prayers as Marshall’s situation is critical.

• Linnaea Arford would like prayers for Rick who’s in hospice following a COVID-19 related illness. Linnaea would also like prayers for Michael who had major surgery this Wednesday, February 19.

• Prayers for Ed Bennett. May God be with him and his wife Becky as he goes through chemo treatments.

• Rebecca Vanderpool asks that we pray for a friend with a rare disease that continues to progress.

• Jackie Landrie would like prayers for her son-in-law Rob who’s in the hospital for tests relating to severe abdominal pain.

• Prayers for Tom McCoy who will receive chemotherapy and immunotherapy for stage four cancer.

• Prayers for Carol Bailey. She suffered a stroke last week, and is currently in rehabilitation.

• Prayers for Inasmuch Ministry and all they serve. Lead us to become even more involved with this valuable ministry that provides the poorest of the poor in Fort Wayne with God’s loving care.

DISTRICT WORK DAY AT CAMP LAKEWOOD

The Northeast District of the INUMC is planning a district-wide workday at Camp Lakewood for Saturday, March 29 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Mark your calendars and come ready to pick up sticks, split wood, and fill wood boxes for the season. Camp does have work gloves, but you are welcome to bring your own.

FEBRUARY FOOD DONATION - SPREADABLE FOODS

February Food Collection Focus: “Spread the Love” with spreadable foods like peanut butter, jelly, apple butter, mayo, catsup, etc. Leave donations at the Mission Collection Center. Please, no glass containers!

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED AT TREASURE HOUSE

Duties could include sorting and hanging up clothes and textiles, organizing items, dusting and light cleaning throughout the store, restocking sales items, attending the dressing rooms or jewelry counter, cleaning furniture, sorting books, sorting and cleaning donations, testing electronics, and more.

You can choose the day and amount of time you can give. When you volunteer at Treasure House you help fund vital programs, provide job training, rehabilitation, and life-skills development for those in need in our community.
