CHRISTMAS CANTATA

Covenant's annual Christmas Cantata will be presented in both services on Sunday, December 15. It will include our Chancel Choir with guests, orchestra, sets, costumes, and drama. Bring a friend and mark your calendar now. While the stream will present a high quality presentation, you may want to be in the Sanctuary for the full experience. (Just one director's opinion). To complete our list of props, WE NEED YOUR HELP! If you have, or have access to a large menorah, could we borrow it? Please contact Pat Clouse at gpsclouse@aol.com. Thanks, John

UNITED WOMEN IN FAITH CHRISTMAS PARTY

The Covenant United Women in Faith invites everyone in the congregation on Sunday, December 8 at 3 p.m. The HIM Singers from Huntington Trinity UMC will be presenting a program of Christmas songs and Christmas desserts will be served. All are invited to join us at this celebration that starts the Christmas activities.

Prayer List Week of November 25, 2024

• Dottie Pitser would like prayers for the Rolf family, especially Ryan and Elaine (her daughter) as well as their children.

• John Lawhorn would like prayers for those who reside in nursing homes, those who suffer from depression, and those who will not be around during the holidays.

• Please pray for Judy Moore who suffered a pelvic fracture. She is currently undergoing rehab at Lutheran Life Village.

• Nikki Miller asks that we pray for her daughter-in-law, Claire, who’s fighting an infection while 26 weeks along in her pregnancy. She has become resistant to some of the antibiotics, and there’s only two stronger ones she can try. Claire is on an antibiotic now. Prayers it will wipe out the infection.

• Pray for the families of Nalani and Jaiden who died in a car accident over the weekend, and for the Lincoln Elementary School family as they deal with yet another loss.

• The Mission Team pray for InAsMuch Ministries. May we continue to support Allen County residents in need, giving a hand up, and sharing the love of Jesus. Their passion for serving is an important need in our community.

COVENANT STAFF APPRECIATION

We have a wonderful staff at Covenant, and you can express your appreciation for them with a monetary Christmas gift. Our staff does so many behind-the-scenes things that make Covenant an active, loving, serving congregation. Your gift will help show our appreciation for all they do. Make checks out to Covenant and indicate “Staff Christmas Gift.” All gifts must be received by Sunday, December 15.
