Restack project
Cobalt Square, Metropolitan Police, London
Highlights
Our specialist security-cleared team was appointed to a major restack project at Cobalt Square on behalf of The Metropolitan Police.
The vast space within Cobalt Square was completely restructured to maximise the building’s potential whilst promoting open plan working. The building was fully occupied by staff during the 16 week project.
In the basement we converted the existing dining area into locker rooms and storage areas, including construction of new walls and ceilings, new flooring and lighting.
Works to the ground floor included converting multiple internal offices to open plan space, also involving the fitting of bi-folding walls to enable smaller areas when required.
Full decoration, new carpets and the conversion of a small tea point into a large kitchen/dining area completed the work on the ground floor.
